Brianna earned her bachelor's degree in Humanities from the University of Maryland University College intending to pursue a career where she could work intimately with others in a healthcare setting. With the forethought that she would go on to study her Master's in Acupuncture, Brianna focused a large part of her undergrad studying Eastern Philosophy.
Her studies in Eastern Philosophy provided a strong foundation for her to begin studying Acupuncture, as Chinese Medicine is applied Chinese Philosophy. Her interest in Chinese Medicine began when she had her first experience with Acupuncture as a patient in 2010.

I began acupuncture because of my severe headaches which also caused pain to my neck and back. When I began I was very early into a pregnancy and it was not safe to take my migraine medicine . After getting several treatments each week I began to notice that instead of getting headaches every day I was experiencing then only 1 time a week and the intensity had greatly decreased. I am beginning to be able to pull back on the amount of over the counter drugs that I need to take when I do have a headache. I am so grateful to be a patient here!

I had never tried acupuncture until I went to Peace Within Acupuncture. I was very nervous but Bree is extremely professional and made the whole experience very comforting. Her knowledge and calm demeanor was very reassuring. As I have a very busy schedule and live far from her office, she was flexible for scheduling and accommodated me in every… way possible. Bree is an excellent provider. She is intelligent and intuitive. She has helped me tremendously in the short amount of time I have seen her. Bree is a very kind person to begin with and she is absolutely dedicated to her craft. She puts 100% of her energy and time into every treatment. I would recommend Bree to everyone, including my family. For anyone on the fence, I come from a background of western medicine. I highly recommend Brianna to treat children and their ailments.
In late 2018 my then 8yr old daughter hurt her knee. She was standing in her school and it suddenly started hurting, it was swollen and painful for her to bend it in ANY degree. It was heart wrenching to see her that way, she would cry when she walked and I felt helpless as a parent to see my child in such a distraught way and I could nothing to make it better. **updated review, May 2020** I had my first gallbladder attack! And I didn't know what to do. I was nervous because I thought "if this puts me in the hospital I'm going to catch covid-19". I'm so glad that I realized I could call an acupuncturist first. Can acupuncture help with gallbladder issues? Apparently very much so! Bree took such good care… of me. Thank goodness I called her. I highly recommend Brianna. My experience as a patient under her care has been nothing short of life changing. I have been seeing Bree for the last year to receive weekly acupuncture treatments. All I really need to say is that she is a remarkable acupuncturist, she has such a healing presence and she is a great listener who cares a lot about her patients. I feel so lucky to have Bree as my practitioner, not only she is there for me when I need her the… most, she is also very compassionate and loving towards me as a patient and towards her work as a healer. BLUF: Yes I recommend coming to see Brianna.
She treats my 2 children ages 10 and 8 and she is gentle and responsive to them both. My children enjoy coming to get acupuncture from her! She does not poke them in the same spots every time, its different depending on what's going on in their bodies. Her appointment times are very accommodating for their school hours and I couldn't be happier. Definitely bring your kids and yourself to be treated!

She offers military discounts! I've been in the military for almost 20yrs and everything hurts. LoL however Bree's treatment plan and phenomenal appointment hours make it easy to book an appt after work. Best of all I've noticed an improvement in my pain level which allows me to take less Motrin (which the military hands out like candy!) and do more with my life. Any military member on the fence about paying for services out of pocket because Humana Tricare/ John Hopkins Tricare doesn't cover acupuncture, should do it. Even if it's every other week, it will help.
