Every garden wedding package at CJ's Off the Square gives you exclusive use of the entire venue. This includes three unique spaces: The house, the pavilion and the garden.
Our Social event package is the perfect solution for turn-key business entertaining. Take advantage of our unique event location featuring a historic home and outdoor pavilion just steps from Franklin's Main Street (and one block from the Harpeth Hotel). Our full-service event design and catering services make customizing your event to suit your needs a breeze.
CJ's Off the Square offers two packages for couples who want to elope or host a small wedding ceremony in our romantic garden location. Catering services are not available with the Small Ceremony package. If you would like to celebrate with dinner after the ceremony, let us recommend one of the many wonderful restaurants within walking distance of CJ's Off the Square.

When I started looking for a venue for our wedding, I knew I wanted something outdoor that could be more on the casual side. When I saw CJs, the first and only place I viewed, I knew it was perfect. Allison, our planner provided by Cj’s was amazing. She was nothing short of professional, organized and kind. On more that one occasion I was frazzled and behind and she helped me seamlessly put things back together. When my fiance and I first stepped into the pavilion and garden setting of CJ’s Off the Square, we immediately knew that this was exactly where we wanted to get married! The venue is beautiful and intimate, and the staff is amazing! We got engaged during COVID and pre-vaccines, and really didn’t know what to expect with our wedding planned for the Fall of 2021. We had an excellent experience at CJ’s. Allie our coordinator was wonderful. The venue was beautiful with the azaleas in full bloom for the wedding. Throughout the entire process, the venue’s staff was kind, professional and well organized. I also consider the cost to be more than reasonable for the services provided. I would give the venue my highest recommendation.

I found CJ’s many years ago and have dreamed of planning my wedding in the garden! They did not disappoint! The entire process from day one to walking down the isle was so enjoyable. CJ's Off the Square was the perfect place to hold our daughters wedding. From the moment we signed the contract until the day of the wedding everything flowed seamlessly. Allison our wedding planner was constantly on top of our event and maintained contact with us per our timeline. We planned our wedding over the course of a year with Allison, our wedding coordinator. Her professionalism, knowledge, organizational skills, and creative eye exceeded our expectations! We had a small,… romantic wedding with just 51 guests. Although our guest count may have been small the details of planning was not! But with Alli, each planning session was so much fun & productive that we left feeling confident about the decisions made regardless of if it was floral decisions, the menu, music, set up or the cake!

The best decision we made for our wedding was booking CJ's! We had an amazing experience with our coordinator Sidney (SHE IS THE BEST). We had a destination wedding in TN, and all of our friends and family traveled to celebrate us at CJ's. We got so many compliments from friends and family on the venue and decor- it was truly like a dream. SO Perfect!!! They made the wedding planning process almost too easy, and it was worth every penny to book the premium package!

Simply put, our whole experience and wedding day at CJ’s off the Square was nothing short of a dream. Every last detail was coordinated by our wonderful wedding planner, Sidney, over the course of a year. Sidney and the entire team at CJ’s had the planning process down to a science keeping it stress free and on a timeline. We were so excited each and every time we got to meet with Sidney whether it was to pick out table setting details or review food and drink options right up until our final walkthrough and rehearsal. We recently chose CJ's for our daughter's wedding. The venue and wedding was very nice except that they were slow to bring out replacement trays of food and even ran out of one of our food choices. It was apparent that they had no plans to provide more food until we brought it to their attention. A well run catering operation would have monitored consumption and provided replacement food in a timely fashion such that everyone gets all that they want. We did not get what we paid for or what was promised. I would also like to add that this issue occurred even though we were well below

I cannot rave enough about working together with Jennifer Rhem and CJ Dickson on my wedding this past October. First off, the venue is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. We had 4 additional appointments at other venues but knew immediately that this was the one. We cancelled the rest and went with CJ's.

I just had my wedding at CJ's and I am still in awe of how wonderful it was. Do not waste your time looking around for other venues. CJ's Off The Square is absolutely perfect! You get 5 star service, the venue itself is gorgeous, and it's in a great location! I cannot say enough great things about CJ and Jennifer. The whole process was super easy and I was even an out of state bride!

I am a busy person, but still wanted to have a somewhat traditional, but intimate ceremony and reception. Cj's was just the place. Their first rate planning team takes you from beginning to end and all the details in between. The day of the wedding was flawless and beautiful. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding at this venue and it truly was beautiful. The owner, Caren, took every care to make everything run smoothly. The majority of the wedding was outside, but she had a room inside reserved for the cakes, so they wouldn't get spoiled outside. There is also ample room inside for the wedding party to get ready in very pretty surroundings.
