I had good experiences at the Preston Road Pharmacy for a really long time, but things changed the last few years I was in Dallas. During that time I went there to fill a prescription and when I got there, two young girls, probably high school or college age, were working at the counter. One of them got the medication from wherever they were keeping it and threw it at me while the other said something to me in very rude, disrespectful, and hostile tone. My family has been using Preston Road Pharmacy for over a DECADE without a single problem, so I was shocked to have such a terrible experience with them over the past two days. I really needed my prescription the day it was prescribed and asked if it could be delivered that day or if I should just come get it. The woman on the phone assured me it would be delivered that day. The prescription never arrived so I called the next morning and the woman on the phone was very short with me when I asked when it would be delivered. I offered to come and pick it up if the prescription hadn't been sent

I really want to like this local neighborhood gem in University Park. They seem to have an interesting selection of products and a very busy pharmacy. Unfortunately, some of the pharmacy people are just not friendly. You can be busy and still be friendly. I have struggled with the fact that this is a high-end pharmacy but there are people working there who don’t seem to enjoy their job. I would encourage management to do some training of their pharmacy staff, they seem to know what they’re doing but they are very frustrated and not always polite. The pharmacy is the best part of the store I would give them 10 Stars. Actually I would give the whole store 10 Stars if it weren't for the one lady that works front register by front door. She is rude, never smiles and never asks if you need help. But like I said if you need anything filled or questions about medications from the Pharmacy this is the place to go. Fast, friendly, knowledgeable and always eager to help!

Best compounding Pharmacy in the city. They are friendly,helpful and professional. I love their gift section! I hardly have to go anywhere else for any gifts, candles, Yetis and seasonal decorations. They have great OTC products and grooming products. And their card selection is superb. Will continue shopping there as far into the future as I can deyermine

Ok, they move to a five. These people treat you like you live next door. And, it has been the same people working there for years. They are quick, have the medications, and a nice gift store. Here's the big one- they tried to work with my insurance on a prescription cost and I trusted them when they said they could not take the loss the insurance company wanted them to take on the medication. This is a business that I am a billboard for so that as many people can patronage them as possible.

Really nice pharmacy with a good staff for the pharmaceutical items and some neat gifts (and jewelry, of all things) in the store. I always have had a good experience here and don't understand the negative review at all.
They have a nice selection of the normal drug store items and I never found pricing to be an issue.
Parking can be a bit challenging with Preston Road, so I suggest you park around the side where you won't be taking your life (and your car) in your hands trying to back up onto Preston Road from the front -area parking. (I always end up with somebody in an SUV - which are ubiquitous

I have used this pharmacy for years and am officially fed up today and will not return. This is the second time they've "misplaced" my prescription. I drive straight from the doctor with two in hand, clearly state generic for one and brand for the other and when I return only one is filled. This is a controlled substance and requires a pharmacist confirming it wasn't filled to have the prescription rewritten and they rudely refused phone them. In addition to screwing me over for the second time, they have also given me 30 pills instead of 60 and charged for the larger amount

Didn't have the best experience with this pharmacy :/ First time calling I ended up being on hold over 10 minutes and never got to talk to a person except for the brief second when they asked me to hold. Then when I did go in they were not able to give me a price on my compound and I was told they would call me the next day with the price, did not hear from them then next day but did the following. They gave me the price and said they would call me later that day when it was ready so I could come pick it up. Never got called :/ I ended up calling back several days later asking if it was ready and

Terrible customer service. Takes forever to fill prescriptions and they call 50% of the time when your prescription is ready so you never know. Employees are very unhappy and very unprofessional. Very unqualified employees. I wanted to support a local business and family but can no longer do so. Also, I did enjoy the gift shop but everything is way overpriced and they are unable to properly box any large or expensive gifts. They basically throw them in a plastic bag.

This place is fantastic! This pharmacy has EVERYTHING when you're looking for the perfect gift...and even when you want to come across unique items for yourself. The pharmacy includes gifts (babies, wedding, men, personalized/monogrammed gifts, etc.), wrapping/packaging, a great selection of candles/fragrant accessories, clothing, jewelry, books, kitchen accessories, general drugstore items, etc. Ask for Ms. Linda and Ms. Tibet in clothing...they are great! Sally gets a shout out too! The pharmacy staff is also VERY professional and knowledgeable. All around a great place!

I want to love this place, but I never get warm fuzzies from the people who work here. I get a prescription filled here at least once a month and the workers always seem like soulless drones (esp the cashier by the door). The pharmacy has a lot of great gift items, but is that enough to keep me coming back? 2.5 stars.

On Monday, I realized to great horror that I had yet again misplaced my faithful toothbrush. Who loses toothbrushes all the time? I do. I've never had one of those little cups with the 4 toothbrush holes in them- cause I think they're stupid and unhygienic. SO, I lose toothbrushes. As a former dental assistant, I needed to scrub my pearly whites STAT. It was raining something awful, but I could not wait another minute without cleaning my teeth! Luckily, there's a pharmacy in my backyard and as I hop-scotched over puddles
