In 1955, Paul "Prince" Orloff opened Orloff Jewelers. He was renowned as a businessman for his personal touch and refined taste. As we grew, Orloff Jewelers became more than a jewelry store: it became part of the community. When Orloff retired in 1988, his son James took the helm and carried on the tradition.

I appreciated the extra time the owner took to explain exactly how they will repair something valuable to me which I had allowed to deteriorate.
I also realized after I left that this same owner recently piloted my son and his wife to Carmel for lunch—an item the owner had generously donated to a community fundraiser, and which my family members were thrilled to win.

Orloff is my go to jeweler. Every time I’ve been there they have treated me with kindness and respect. Every employee encounter is friendly. Their collection is beautiful and quite varied. They have an appraiser on site and they do great repairs. I trust their work and am grateful to find a family friendly jeweler who I know will take care of my family heirlooms.

The people here are incredibly kind, super respectful of your budget, and quick to adapt. I went in to buy an engagement ring and Ronda was gracious, communicative, patient and very helpful. She was very good at explaining gem clarity and color, and gladly let my girlfriend and I converse privately while she looked up additional information for us. She provided her professional opinion while still happily embracing our subjective preferences. Lovely place.

In full transparency, we had multiple issues with communication and workmanship while working together, HOWEVER, the way they responded each time gave us the utmost respect for the way they do business. They act with integrity and truly value their customers.

I have went into the " Old fig " location and put together a personal men's ring and was told they didnt except my "SYNCHRONY " account and come to find out, the lady I spoke with just didn't know what she was talking about. So I went back several months later and Magically they found a way to accept my card. ( but was told the price of gold has changed ) and they would call me back. - Everyone working there was down to earth, greeted me, and was helpful. Customer service is a big deal to me. Constantly offered warm smiles and water. Can't stand snobby jewelers. I went to Orloff to see their selection of engagement rings. My boyfriend and I specifically sought out a privately owned "mom and pop" jewelry store to look at rings. When I walked into Orloff I was immediately created by a wonderful sales woman. We talked and laughed, she listened to me and what I was looking for. She also pulled a couple of other things that had some of the elements I was looking for in a ring. Words cannot describe how heartbroken I am at my decision to trust them with my beautiful ring. I came here for a simple resizing and THIS is how they returned my ring to me. Before on the left and after on the right..speaks volumes :( i can't recommend anyone to this place if this is the lack of professionalism they choose to present. To their credit-they acknowledged the destruction and offered to fix it no charge but I said no thank you and left the establishment. True owner have me a sincere apology which I appreciated but it can't take back what they did to my ring.

Long story, took my ring in 1 year ago to get Rhodium ,first time going to someone I didn't know, while visiting from out of town.
Something looked different, but didn't catch for months, I found my appraisal,which had a picture of my Ring....they shaved all the sides, for the gold,.
I called the women owner, and basically she said I was crazy.....I knew it was a weird story,I was just telling her to be aware....if I could post the before and after I would!
Just be careful, I feel so violated!
