Dr. Sandra Mauro became interested in optometry at a very young age. Born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada she started her first job in an optometric practice. Dr. Mauro continued working for the optometric group during high school and through her undergraduate years. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from McMaster University in Hamilton.
Making a decision about your eyewear goes beyond good vision and makes a statement about who you are. Your decision affects how you see and also how you want to be seen by others. But with so many different styles to choose from, getting the right look for your face and your lifestyle can be overwhelming.
We do accept other plans as well, so if you do not see your plan listed here, please give us a call and we would be happy to assist you. Our staff is also always available to answer any questions regarding your benefits. A vision insurance policy is not the same as health insurance. Regular health insurance plans protect you against financial losses due to unexpected eye injuries or disease.

4 days to have my prescription sent ! Doesn't make sense at all ! I made 4 calls just to have my prescription sent so I can get another pair of glasses else where . Did not receive any updates at all . I had to continue to call and get the same answer . Sign the prescription and email it ! It's not rocket science and shouldn't take all day !

Excellent care. From the moment we got in, we were greated by Jazmin at the reception, then she guided us to take my daughter's eyes' measurements and pressure. Jasmin is so nice and polite. My daughter, who is 11, felt very comfortable asking questions to Jazmin. Then we saw doctor Mauro, who is amazing, very knowledgeable and professional. Doctor Mauro really cares for my daughter's eye health.

Had my first appointment at this office a few days ago. Everyone was so friendly. Dr Delgado was great, he was funny and really knew what he was doing. I was in and out in no time. They also did the nicest thing for me, I called at around 2:15 to stop by to get my glasses ordered not realizing they were closing early that day at 2:30. But since I live 5 mins away they offered to wait for me since I was experiencing headaches and eye pain. Thank you guys again, you all are awesome!

Four stars for a good smaller eye care practice with two optometrists. I saw Jaime, and he was easy to work with. The office has good hours (some days til 7 so you can pop in after work). The parking lot is tiny and the office is easy to miss. I'm not sure where else one can park in the area if it's full. It's also pretty poorly designed and difficult to get into and out of, especially if there's anything being done to the lawn.

I highly recommend Dr. Mauro! I have recommended my sister and two friends already. Dr. Mauro is very genuine and compassionate. She took extra time to get my prescriptions just right and help resolve my issues with my constant headaches. I highly recommend her; she is now my permanent eye doctor.

Have to say after taking my daughter to another eye doctor for over a year and no improvement I wanted to get a second opinion and I was so happy I did! The doctor was so amazing and took her time to work and go over my daughters eyes she is 5 and I know it can be difficult but what an excellent job! On another note all the ladies in front are amazing great customer service 😉thank you my daughter loves her new glasses

Wonderful experience going through an exam as a new patient, to purchasing new glasses. Usually I go to big box stores to save a buck but it was nice to have an enjoyable experience at a locally owned place. They have a great selection of frames which made choosing mine hard, but never felt pressured to make a decision throughout the process. My eye exam was able to be scheduled same day, which was perfect to fit into my schedule. Definitely going to check them out again when it's time to update the prescription.

Best eye doctor experience I have ever had. The doctor (not Hoffner, not sure what his name was to be honest) was attentive, swift, and thorough. I had our 5-year old with me and the doctor was super sweet to him. The front-desk girl who helped me pick out glasses and work through my insurance billing was an absolute sweetheart. She made me feel very welcome and helped me pick out an awesome new pair of glasses. She was just as great when I came to pick them up. Took a few weeks to get them but this was around Christmas time and she warned me up front.

This is possibly the best office I have ever been too. It's clean organized the girl at the front desk is very well mannered and treats you with respect and knows how to give advice on picking a pair of glasses. They do not take forever to see you they are very prompt which seems to be a service many other places tend to forget.
Dr.Delgaldo and his wife Dr.Mauro are both excellent doctors. I was treated by Dr. Mauro and she is kind and takes her time to go through everything and explain what is happening. Will definitely continue to come here for as long as I can.

My wife and I had an outstanding experience with Dr. Delgado and staff today. Dr. Delgado took the time to get to know us and understand our needs. The exams were thorough and we were put to ease with Dr. Delgado's explanations. The staff is knowledgeable and patient when deciding on your hardware. Options in which there are many was explained with the understanding of our lifestyle. The office is clean and arranged well. We highly recommend Hoffner Eye Care.

What a blessing Hoffner Eye Care was to us today. My husband is on Medicare and his Wellcare Medicare supplement Insurance was accepted here, not even a co-pay. They accept most insurances because the Optometric Physician Dr. Jaime Delgado said he grew up in the area and he and his wife, Dr. Sandra Mauro want to provide service to as many people as… possible. He also said he wants to give back to the Community. The entire staff are caring, friendly , professionals. The office is clean, bright and well run. Had one of the best visits. The receptionist not only knew her stuff but helped me pick out eye glasses while I waited. The Dr I saw (Jaime) was polite, informative and knowledgeable about everything I inquired about. This was a great first visit, and they have been checking in with me weekly (in respects to my contacts). Great place.
