It began under Everett Congdon and has been family owned and operated ever since. Family and friends getting together to honor a loved one's life is one of the most important steps in the grieving and healing process. You may opt to have a traditional religious or military service, or as more and more people are doing, you can choose to have a non-traditional 'life celebration'.
Whether a death is sudden or expected, the loss of a loved one is indescribable. When you are in a heightened emotional state, even the most basic decisions can seem staggering. This section seeks to guide you through the immediate hours following a passing. If the person was not under hospice care, the police will have to be notified immediately.

Highly recommend, I would give 10 stars if I could. Losing my father was an extremely hard experience. Cogdon Funeral Home and Funeral Director Rhonda made my fathers final wishes a complete success and took all the pressure and stress of homegoing services off My mother and I. Their customer service is beyond exceptional. They didn't just try to sell us on the highest plans and services but instead walked through every financial option with us making sure that my father got what he wanted and that it was affordable for us..They really gave us so much love, attention and care that we felt like
