The Yogo Inn is named after the Yogo sapphire which is mined in central Montana outside nearby Utica. These unique and rare sapphires were discovered in 1894 by prospectors panning for gold in a nearly vertical strip of rock averaging eight feet in width and extending a distance of 5 miles. Yogo sapphires are exceptional stones of superb quality and notable cornflower blue color which is natural and not color enhanced.

Nice place. About how you'd expect a cheaper hotel to be, just slightly nicer. The pool and hot tub were the cleanest I've seen in any hotel. The hospitality could have been better, but it wasn't awful. The water in the hotel room was SUPER HOT. The shower wouldn't cool down at all, and even the toilet water was hot. The seat was always warm and the place that holds the water was piping hot as well. The walls are a little thinner then I'd like, but that might depend on the room. However, overall it was pretty cozy. The room was spacious and the place was HUGE. It was a nice experience for especially

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Yogo Inn. Our room was spacious and cheerful. The beds were very comfortable. We were there for a 1920s theme wedding, my husband was the Best Man. Like everywhere else in the country they were short staffed, but they all worked very hard to ensure everything went smoothly. We would definitely stay again!

I first off with like to thank the Yogo for their hospitality and friendliness. I recently had my mothers memorial there and couldn't have asked for better venue. I worked with Sabrina from the start and she was very accommodating. Great communication and answered all questions I had in a timely manner. She went above and beyond taking by being their personally assuring everything went smooth. The space was updated, clean and we were all very satisfied with the service provided. There were details I did not think of that she helped me with and additionally was accommodated some last minute changes

Enjoyed our stay. Room was clean, bed was comfy, shower water pressure was very good. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The only breakfast is in their restaurant so have patience if it's early morning. It doesn't open til 7. After half an hour of not even getting the juice ordered my husband had to leave so he wouldn't be late for work. There were only a hand full of other diners & he was first to order. Even told the waitress he had to leave by 730. Other than that is was a nice place to stay.

DIRTY-DINGY-DATED
Check-in was a total Fiasco! There were four checking stations only two were being used and there were five people behind the counter but only two people checking Guests In. Many people waiting in line to check in. I finally gave up waiting and went to the bar and have a drink. Came back out and the line had diminished and I got waited on in about 15 minutes. Got to my room and discovered they gave me a receipt with someone else's name on it but charged to my credit card five nights instead of two! Finally got it all straightened out. It appears that this hotel stopped making

We stayed recently for a family funeral a few town away. Initial impression was good. The facility appeared that it was being maintained, however it disparately needed to be updated. It is in an amazing location that is close to downtown, and across the street from a great brewery. Day two is where many issues started. First off, the bathtub does not drain properly and fills halfway during a shower. Maid service was requested around 9am when we left, however it was never done.
Upon check-in we were told that the lounge closed at 11pm. We arrived at 10:10, however we were quickly told it was

This is the second time I have stayed at the Yogo Inn, in the heart of downtown Lewistown, MT. What a charming place, filled with authentic Montana ambiance, down to the bronze grizzly bear statues that greet you at the front entrance. I was immediately greeted by a very pleasant lady from the front desk when I came through the front door. She was delightful, helpful and offered a well rounded guest experience. When I got to my room, I was in awe of what I found. A beautifully styled room, with complimenting décor and a renovated bathe with a glass shower. The shower even had a French drain with

Hotel Review.
Don't do it.
We paid $102 for one night which was about $100 more than we should have paid. The room was dank, there was not a window to the outside world, phone was broken, the light in the bathroom was broken, the kids screaming in the indoor pool radiated through the room until 10pm and it smelled super funky. Yuck.

I'd been to the Yogo Inn, many years ago. Back then, there was a good band in the lounge, decent food, a sweet gift shop, and nice, simple, clean rooms. It was the logical, sentimental choice to stay in Lewistown.
Unsolicited advice: leave your memories alone.
The Yogo Inn was overpriced, sad, and in rough shape. They sent us to what appeared to be an annex. No elevator was evident, so we lugged our stuff up to the second floor.
The room itself was inspired by a pre-release center. When I opened the curtain (hoping the view would compensate), the window was crying: it had rained--condensation

Don't stay here unless you absolutely must. I'm not particularly fussy while traveling in a small town, but our room was sub-par on nearly every level. The hotel needs updating in the worst way. Our room didn't even have any natural lighting, the window opened directly into another hallway making it practically dungeonesque.
I am a fan of saying anything positive I can so I'll say, the in-room coffee was excellent and the sheets were clean.

So two families went for the Polar Express train ride and spend the night at the Yogo. My wife had called months earlier to make reservations and ensure we had poolside rooms that connect. We again called two weeks prior to arrival and verified our rooms. We go to check in and are told they have one poolside room and one room across the hall. We had our reservations printed both stating poolside rooms. The girl working the front desk says we must have made reservations through Expedia and they have nothing to do with the hotel. What??? We called to make reservations. We didn't use

I have no clue how this hotel has one star, let alone 3. This has to be the worst hotel experience we have ever had. Bath tub wouldn't drain, holes in the carpet and curtains, sink did turn on, air conditioning was set on 50, but only cooled the room to 77. All of this was given to the front desk, who gave us 20% off our bill and sent a maintenance man to our room...thank you!
He put Drain-O in the tub, loosened the sink pull, and stuck his head out the back door(yes we had a patio, too bad it faces the restaurant, so if I wanted to sit outside in the morning with my coffee, I had to

Stayed here for a week in Aug for work. The hotel is ok, nothing great. More along the lines of a Quality Inn. The indoor sauna wasn't working and their wireless signal is poor at best when it works. The main this is the price here. It is 90 bucks which is overpriced and that is if you go through calling them directly. IF YOU GO THROUGH EXPEDIA IT IS 120 bucks a night which is absolutely not worth it. CALL THE HOTEL DIRECTLY TO BOOK YOUR ROOM. EXPEDIA didn't have the new Super 8 when I booked this hotel but see they have it now and it is 75 bucks a night, suggest staying there.

As far as hotels go, the Yogo Inn is not my favorite. It's got a bizarre layout and the beds and rooms are oddly sized and are run down. That being said, it's the best option in Lewistown.
What I will say is that the restaurant has really delicious food and exceptional service. We had a really good dinner there (I recommend the flank steak) and a wonderful breakfast buffet. Gloria, our server, remembered us by name and made us feel at home. Great job Yogo!
