Good food, quick service, friendly staff and decent prices. The only issue I had is that the OJ tasted and smelled weird. If in Lakeview again and looking for breakfast I would definitely eat there again!

The food was absolutely delicious! The brisket sandwich was almost as good as the grilled peach salad!

Great selection of food, and unusual items that I've never heard of at other restaurants. Very good too and friendly staff! And they serve breakfast, lunch & dinner!

I travel to Lakeview Michigan once a month to visit a friend. We meet up at McKenna’s Village Restaurant downtown. It’s a very nice clean place with good variety of food and beverages. Great selection of beers. I highly recommend them when you are in the area, or just taking a drive to visit the Amish cheese business on Kendaville road. Nice road trip. Get a good cup of coffee for the road trip next door, great coffee.

Seating was a little tight, but the food was good and the service was top notch. I had a double cheeseburger, a little overcooked, but the staff are also clearly super busy, lots of customers, it's nothing major. Ultimately a great experience. Almost missed this place, glad we stopped in. Keep up the good work, guys!

We love coming here. The wait staff is always pleasant and welcoming. Food is delicious and we love to support local.

This is my new favorite! Grilled Chicken Breast & Veggie Trio. My own specialty...I will definitely keep ordering this! Quite tasty and a healthy option.
Thanks for making this for me! :)

My wife and I were in the mood to try something new for dinner. We did a "restaurants near me" search, and landed on McKenna Village Restaurant. We are so glad we did.
Located in Lakeview, Mi which is about 20 minutes from our Canadian Lakes home. Easy angled parking out front and a unassuming interior. Very comfy... and was greeted nicely upon entering. We seated ourselves and our server approached immediately. Two large TV screens run through appetizers, specials, deserts etc... which is a nice touch.
On this particular night (Tuesday), they had a taco bar set up which many patrons took part

Love this place for home made food. You can always get a good meal here and always greeted with a kind smile like you are family. The ribs are awesome on thurs and breakfast is not only filling but a great price as well. Country charm and tin ceilings gives it a warm homey feeling!

I'm trying to have a little bit of grace tonight for these servers. From all we could see, they were short staffed with only 2 servers for the whole restaurant (about 20 tables). Waited over half an hour just to order our food, then by the time it got to us, the kids food was cold, and 2 of our 4 orders were wrong. Very unpleasant experience for our first time there. Debating if it's worth going back.

Lori is an exceptionally good server. Coffee was good enough to drink black. Solid food. The French toast was delicious. Both my over medium eggs and my son’s omelette were undercooked however. 5 star service, 3.5 star food.

Nice people, and I like the tavern feel but I was very disappointed in the food.

I started with a salad. It had a majorly rotten piece of lettuce that was disgusting. Most of the rest of it had red edges that show as lettuce gets old. It was fairly small and just not very appetizing.

Then I had the fettuccine alfredo. I was happy they were willing to make it without the chicken. The highlight was the broccoli was fresh and bright green. The pasta and sauce was very bland but ok.

Then I saw the had dessert in the refrigerators decided to try the pineapple upside down cake. It looked nice

I would say this place is bar food.
Take that how you will.. didn't feel like it was very home cooking. My taco salad was.. sad.
Everything else seemed to be deep friend. One of our servers seemed annoyed with us.
Wouldn't run back for the food.

Every time we are up north we try to come here as much as we can. Great food and service, ever since their renovation this place looks stunning inside and out. Highly recommend coming on fish Fridays.

Took our sons & granddaughter for dinner while on vacation at a nearby lake. We ordered potato thins, which were loaded and plentiful, and onion rings, which was the smallest serving for an appetizer I've ever seen. Maybe 6 rings, not really big ones, either. Dinners were not large portions. The chicken strips dinner looked OK, the hamburger looked fine. Son's BBQ chicken strips got no complaints. The shrimp dinner looked like it needed more shrimp. Hubby said the fries were not very good, and I noticed nobody at our table finished them. My fried chicken dinner had 4 small, dried

Really crappy food. Even worse service and even worse interior. Came here for their burger and fries and had to send the sloppy greasy burger back. Meat tasted foul and my burger was sopping in wet grease. Floors there were sticky and disgusting and walls and interior dark and dingy. Don't eat here.

We just moved to the area and we struck gold with this place! It is such a friendly atmosphere you almost feel like you a guest at someone's house. We have eaten here 4 days in a row and will likely make it 5. I can't make a suggestion on the menu because everything is good. Go on Friday and get the walleye special! It is truly special and the breakfast is dynamite! You will never leave here hungry!
