Services
If you have any mobility issues, allergies, or if you are or may be pregnant please inform the receptionist upon booking. All facials are performed on the main level so, there will be no stairs to climb except upon entering the spa, we do have a ramp but the building is not handicap accessible.
A facial retreat, first we double cleanse, & apply a 30% lactic acid chemical peel, cleanse again, perform extractions, ending with a custom masque & moisturizers based on your skin type.We perform a light massage of the shoulders, neck, scalp while a custom masque soothes the skin, the feet are massaged during the treatment as well.

If you have any mobility issues or if you need an electric table for size requirements, allergies, or if you are or may be pregnant (sorry no prenatal massage but we can perform a prenatal facial) please inform the receptionist upon booking. SpaVana uses 2 levels so there are stairs you may need to climb or descend if that is an issue please inform us and we will keep you on the main floor.
SpaVana is not selling gift certificates but we are still performing services by appointment. We use PayPal to process all transactions on SpaVana.com. PayPal is a secure and trusted payment processor that uses the newest technologies to prevent fraud. We can ship your card directly to the recipient if you would like.
We will require a credit card to reserve, we are by appointment for guests 18 years of age & above. We can only accommodate couples, doubles, & single guests. January of 2022 we will be adding one additional therapist. Why would you deprive yourself of our services? When booking an appointment, we will ask for a valid credit card.

Most amazing massage place on earth! Truly a spa experience. We won't ever go anywhere else. We've been coming here for all different treatments for the last 6 years and I have ZERO negative things to say about it. Absolutely amazing! My friend and I came in for the Moroccan Melody. John and Grace were so patient and professional. Everyone there was very welcoming and accommodating throughout their our visit. They ended our massage with a glass of champagne and offered the onsite gazebo for our enjoyment. We enjoyed their complimentary champagne with some cheese and crackers in the serene gazebo. We will come back for sure!

I will never go anywhere else. Spa Vana is a hidden oasis of pure zen, beauty and relaxation. John and his team are professional to the max. They truly care about your individual and specific needs and make a point to show their appreciation for your business. They are absolutely wonderful in every way. This place is by far the best ever. Spavana is by far my favorite place to book a massage. I am willing to travel, the service is that great. Recently booked a couples massage and we left feeling wonderful. I love the mood, the lighting, the music, the scent of the products, and of course the massage itself is the best I've had. Highly recommend this place.

Was in RI visiting family for the holidays and decided to do a "girls massage" with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law. Despite being the holidays and calling only a week in advance, we were able to find a date/time for all 3 of us which was great.
I agree with other reviewers that the location was a little unusual as the spa is set in an old house, but I don't think it really matters. The decor inside was fine. They definitely ran with old house add lots of dark Asian decor etc, but it's not un-nice by any means. The only thing slightly odd was hearing Hawaiian music which

After I posted my original review, the owner reached out to me. He was very apologetic and sincere about how bad he felt about the experience I had. Without going into specifics, he made things right. I explained to him that my wife was very happy with her massage and it was just myself that felt like the expectations were not met.

It's in a house and doesn't have a spa feel-though it does smell like a spa.
The most off putting thing was the brown carpet in the massage rooms just gross to put my feet on. The house also had a musky smell.
Massage was at best sup par- my friend and I had the same massage by two different persons and it just felt like a back rub with lots of oil. I was uncomfortable for the rest of the day.

My husband and I really love going to the spa. When he is home, we try to go at least once a month. It had been awhile since our last massage due to moving cross country, and we decided that our 4 year wedding anniversary was the right time to give our new home state a try for a pampering spa day.

My wife and I had an amazing couples massage from two very talented women this past Saturday Erica and Donna. Lots of little nuances and surprises that neither of us had experienced before, all extremely pleasing and professional.
Great environment too - having a dedicated building for a spa business is a lot more of an immersive experience than going to one of these places in a strip mall. The room was peaceful & quiet, and we really appreciated the choice in music (classical) as opposed to a gong & citar-laden new age blend that seems to be typical for this type of business.

I was lucky enough to have someone give me a gift certificate to SpaVana. This was my first visit and I must say, I will DEFINITELY be going back. I booked an 80 minute deep tissue massage with Rachel. What a great job she did! I was way overdue for a massage and she worked out a lot of tense muscles. I do crossfit 5-6x/week so there was a lot to work on. Rachel had a great technique, starting soft then gradually adding pressure to release all the stress and tension. This place was AWESOME. My husband and I went for a hot stone couple's massage during our honeymoon and it was amazing. My husband had Grace and I had Heather - both were phenomenal. Heather was the first person I've had during a massage that actually did a "deep tissue" massage. The atmosphere was relaxing and the complimentary tea and water is always a nice touch. We both really enjoyed our time here and will definitely be returning in the future when we are in the area. This was hands down the BEST massage I've ever had, and I've had a couple over the years.
