Dr. George W. Campbell announces the opening of the FLORA HOSPITAL. The building was built in 1877 and was located on North Main and Tenth Street, Dr. Campbell, serving both as physician and surgeon, moved to Flora from Gary, Indiana. He selected Flora as he believed the city has a bright future. The Doctor occupied the upstairs suite of the P.A. Meyer building, most recently used as the living rooms by J.A. Mann and wife.
Family and friends are an important part of a patient's healing process and can help the patient's hospital stay seem more pleasant. Our visiting policy is designed to offer the nurturing benefits that family and friends can bring, while allowing patients time to rest and recover. Visiting is encouraged between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. Families who feel they need to stay need to discuss this with the nursing staff.

When a patient needs a copy of his or her medical record, the Health Information Management employees of Clay County Hospital are available to help. This is for both clinic's (Flora and Louisville) Dr's act as if u are a burden and really dont want you there. Will not listen to you when u explain what is wrong. Their cure for everything is ibuprofen and xrays. Then you get told they will call u in 24 to 48 hours with the results. Hmmm been over 4 days and still haven't heard anything, even when I called and left a message for the nurse on day 3. I'll be finding a new Dr.

I was in the same day surgery center today, as I have been several times. Excellent care from all the staff. Very caring & concerned. Knowing I will receive excellent care & treatment relieves a lot of stress. They answer any questions I may have. Dr. Kumar is my primary care physician. He's always very thorough & very concerned about his patients. Highly recommend CCH
