Regular nose-to-tail wellness exams, early detection, and age-specific assessments help keep your pet healthy. Early detection using diagnostic testing provides a complete picture of your pet's health, improving outcomes, and providing baseline results. Our team consists of highly trained veterinarians who offer a full array of advanced services in various veterinary disciplines.
Wynn Haven Animal Hospital provides comprehensive treatment services, hospitalization, and critical care for pet emergencies. Our animal emergency center is equipped with the latest diagnostic equipment and technologies to help our veterinary experts assess your pet's health. If your pet requires a service that we cannot provide, we'll refer you to an appropriate 24-hour urgent care center.
A pet's first visit to the vet can seem a bit daunting, so we've put together a list of info and resources to help you prepare. At your first appointment, we will gather information about your pet's background, health, diet, and training. We can also address any questions or concerns you might have.
We are proud to offer 24/7 access to your pet's latest medical records and prescriptions using our online portal and mobile app. By using the PetPage app or online portal, you can easily view upcoming procedures and services for your pet, manage appointments, and request prescription refills. While we do find that the PetPage app and online portal are useful to our customers, you are welcome to contact us.
Pet insurance works well in cases of injury and illness, whereas wellness plans cover preventative care exams and basic wellness visits. Pet insurance premiums are typically paid on a monthly basis and can be used to help offset some of your pet's treatment costs. When using pet insurance, payment is typically due when services are rendered and then your insurance company will reimburse you if applicable.

For years my animals have been well taken care of at Wynn Haven Ani.al Hospital.
This past fall my Australian Shepherd was bitten by a venomous snake and would have lost his life if not for the quick and professional response by the veterinarians, vet techs and staff. As it turned out I had my baby back home with me the next day.

We have been taking our pets to Dr. Whiteside at Wynn Haven for many years, and you couldn't ask for a more knowledgeable, caring veterinarian. The only issue is that because he is such a good vet and is so well-liked that his clientele has grown to a point that it is difficult to get an appointment with him. That said, the staff there does everything they can to accommodate for urgent care needs.

They made me feel at ease with Roxy and her surgery, kept me informed after the process and when I picked her up. I have been using Wynn Haven vets for 3 years since I got my baby and can't imagine taking her anywhere else. Also Brittany and Tiffany are awesome when they come to my home for Roxy to get her mani/pedi. 💜

I love taking Sghetti to Wynn Haven Animal Hospital!
Every time I bring my cat in, I am greeted warmly, with no waiting to be addressed. The staff knows my cat and treat her like family.
I board her there with confidence knowing that I can give he the food she’s used to at home and when I pick her up, staff will tell me how her visit went.
She gets her shots there and her records are kept up-to-date. I receive emails when shots are due or she’s due for a check up.
I wouldn’t take my cat anywhere else. I was very lucky to find them. Not all veterinary clinics are equal!
