Services
All work with CFLD Landscape Design begins with an on-site consultation whether you need a full-blown landscape plan or just some advice on your plants or garden. During the consultation we review your site with an eye to understanding your specific interests, needs and preferences as well as the site environment (soil, sun, water, etc.).
This idyllic back yard, once home to a high maintenance pool and lots of lawn to mow, is now an easy-going urban oasis for local birds, butterflies, and family pets! Due to seasonal flooding issues, we designed two rain gardens to contain ponding water during wet months. The owners opted for a no-mow lawn solution that elevates the natural feel of this garden while still providing a cool serenity in the heat of summer.
This Carmichael home's interior was beautifully renovated with entertaining in mind, but the back yard was left in need of an update. We brightened up the space by designing a new outdoor kitchen and dining area with custom pergola, a fire bowl seating area and several other lounge and vantage points to encourage greater enjoyment of this beautiful outdoor space.
This elegant San Francisco California yard had fallen into disrepair after years of neglect. The owners wanted a verdant and lush space for their children and pets to play in, but they also needed a place to entertain. We were able to salvage the heritage Camillia tree and an Apple tree, but had to replace everything else in the 75 by 30 foot space.
This Carmichael California home had a dry and dusty landscape full of weeds, rocks and "volunteer" trees and shrubs in all the wrong places. For this front to back remodel, we were asked to create a livable landscape where friends and family could enjoy outdoor entertaining in the back and the new owners could feel pride of ownership with a new front and side yard.
