Hi, I'm Ashley Smith, a Californian gal who loves dreaming up the details to create a wonderful party. Jolene Barry is a North State native who grew up in Orland and has lived in Chico her whole adult life. She attended Chico State for both her Bachelors and her Master's degree and continues to live in Chico, working and raising her family.
She absolutely loves this area for its beauty and small town community feel, and can't imagine life anywhere else. Jolene has been a DJ for over 15 years and has extensive experience with onsite coordination of events. She also has worked with many of the vendors and has strong connections here in the north state.

I could not be happier that I chose North State Events for our day of wedding coordinator. Jolene was a perfect fit for us! She went above and beyond to help make our day perfect and run smoothly. Not only was the day perfect, but she helped a great amount with getting in touch with certain vendors last minute due to my procrastination. She took the stress off of me, my husband and our families. Jolene even picked up our cake and cupcakes the day of and brought them to the venue! Susie was also a great asset the day of. I highly recommend using them for any big event!
