Our goal is for children to always have a great time visiting the dentist. Our practice has been in the Highlands since 1964, begun by Dr. Young's grandfather, Dr.
Richard Young, DMD, who passed away in the early 1990s. Dr. Bridget Young revived the practice in 2001, and Dr. Linehan joined the practice in 2004. Dr. Young and Dr. Linehan have a combined 39 years of experience in dentistry. Dr. Young and Dr. Linehan were married in 2004. Elaine, their first daughter, was born in 2005 and Madeleine was born in 2007.

Services
Dr. Young graduated from University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1997. She joined the US Air Force and was stationed at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, Mississippi. Following her assignment with the Air Force, she returned to Louisville to reopen the practice of her grandfather in 2001. A board certified Prosthodontist, Dr Linehan graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1983.

Essentially a charming little lodge you'd find tucked away in an enchanted mountain forest.

Latasha was so pleasant and accommodating. Made it very easy to settle in.

Dr. Lanheim and Mr. Pink Nate (pardon me if I messed up the names) helped me feel at ease and welcome during the testing and cleaning.
Aftermath
The doctor gave gave a thorough and accessible understanding of what was happening and what needed to be done. He even drew pictures to help explain!

This was my first appointment here. Great atmosphere from entry to the dentist chair. The office called was so friendly and kind. I recommend this dentist office to anyone. Great customer service and great team work. Also enjoyed the pleasant music. Very relaxing. You guys exceeded my expectations! Dr. Long. Thank you for seeing me on short notice.

Best dentist office I've been to, hands down. Dr. Young is friendly, gentle, and great about answering questions and explaining what she's doing as she works. She was careful to make sure that anesthetic had kicked in before starting to work on my cavities, and clearly explained what signals to look for so I was aware when the anesthetic was working. Everyone on staff has been friendly and helpful. They were great about getting things lined up with my dental insurance and letting me know what to expect with costs of service.

Well trained and skilled in the profession, Dr. Linehan is also very personable and kind. The comfortable atmosphere, personal attention, and good conversation put me at ease. It felt like I was in a barber's chair from the 60's and not the orthopedic assembly line I've been used to other places. I highly recommend Arts and Crafts. The simple goodness of the practice makes me want to return to the dentist!

Dr. Linehan is very very kind and patient and informative, he is the kinda dentist who makes you love going to dentists!
You won't feel pushed around, he'll answer all of your questions and more. Very friendly staff.

DO NOT GO HERE. I bought one Groupon to get a dental cleaning, they told me they could not complete this because I needed a deep cleaning. I ended up having that procedure done elsewhere, because they wanted an exorbitant amount of money upfront, no partial billing or financial assistance offered. All they did was take xrays for me, which I still don't have to use moving forward even though by law I should be able to obtain a copy. THEN, and this is the kicker, they marked me down for another appointment, that i NEVER agreed to, and they keep billing me $50.00 as a missed appointment fee.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! The lobby feels more like my grandmother's living room than a dentist's office. Everyone there is so nice. I never have to wait. My dentist makes me feel very comfortable asking questions and I always get a straight forward answer. Also both times I have been for a cleaning the dentist herself does it and not just a dental hygienist. I would recommend them to anyone!
