I took my birds in for a wellness check and to get their nails done. I am partially deaf and I need to see faces to understand. I let them know this when I scheduled the appointment and they were able to work with me.
The vet seemed like she knew about parrots and how to handle them.
They were amazing. My birds don't like their feet touched but the vet and assistant were very gentle and calm while wrapping the birds in a towel to do their nails.
I will definitely be taking my birds back to this vet for future appointments.
