In 1974, Two Men Will Move You, was opened by a husband and wife team out of Pacific Beach, San Diego. Since then it has grown in size and changed locations, but has remained family owned and operated. Moving charges are based on loading time, double drive time, and unloading time. Double drive time means, for example, if it takes 15 minutes to drive from the load address to the unload address, you will be charged 30 minutes for the drive time. Time starts at your door and ends when the truck is unloaded and the furniture placed.

After having a few bad experiences with some of the bigger nation wide moving companies, I decided to stay local and try some good ole San Diego movers. I made the right choice. After speaking with a rep from Two men Will Move You, I agreed to have an estimate done. The estimate was free, so why not? The person who came out won me over their knowledge of the process and the numbers felt right. I was made to feel comfortable with the company and so I booked it.
In short the crew showed up on time and in uniform, this was impressive to me.

I have used them twice. The first time was so amazing I'll never move without movers again! The second time unfortunately there was some damage to some items however I still give 4 stars because we were able to work together to come up with a fair resolution to the issues without hassle which is important. A lot companies would tell you to just go cry about it, but at least Two Men Will Move You were honorable about rectifying the situation.

I called Two Men Will Move You based on a recommendation from a friend. Had I looked at Yelp beforehand, I might not have hired them, but a friend referred me so I gave them a shot. I'm glad I did.
Tony and Joseph came out and worked hard, with barely a pause to catch their breath. They took great care with all my stuff, wrapping and packing TV's and glass furniture carefully to avoid damage. Unloading was quick and easy despite having cleaners and construction guys out to do work on the same day. They even asked if I needed help moving anything else around in the house before they left.
