Prior to founding VERITY Wealth Advisors in 2003, Evan had ten years of experience working with large institutional investors. At Merrill Lynch, he managed both the firm's equity and equity derivative businesses in the western region. Prior to Merrill Lynch, Evan was a convertible bond specialist with Salomon Brothers.
Evan Graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering and served in the Navy for six years, leaving the service as a Lieutenant. He also earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Evan is a CFA charterholder and CFP certificant and holds the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst certification from the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts.
