Services
We pride ourselves on making our facility feel like a second home - a true place for peace, comfort, and warmth. Our facility is equipped to provide you and your family only the very best and we invite you to explore all that we have to offer.

It was the desire of James H. Alexander and Barry Theriot to open a locally owned and operated funeral home that would offer competitive pricing, provide funeral services to all area cemeteries, and accept transfers of pre-planned arrangements made with other funeral providers.
All of our attention is devoted to making our funeral home the best it can be in terms of satisfying the needs of our friends and neighbors. We are not distracted nor bound by corporate mandates. We're more flexible. More responsive to your needs. This is our business. You can be assured we take great personal pride in keeping our facility and our vehicles in top condition.
Many families reach out to us with letters, emails, and by phone after the conclusion of the services to let us know how much our support and guidance meant to them in their time of need, and we're honored to receive such heartfelt praise. We feel that these messages speak for themselves and we'd like to share them with you.
Planning a funeral can be overwhelming, but you are not alone in this. We're here to support you throughout this journey and make this process one of love, healing, and life celebration. Below is some information to help you get started, but you can contact us at any time if you need help.

When a loved one dies at home or in a place that isn't a healthcare facility, you'll need to contact emergency personnel before they can be taken into our care.If your loved one was under medical care, it's a good idea to call their physician as well. If your loved one dies in a healthcare facility, they will notify the proper authorities, including the funeral home you have chosen to care for your loved one if they know that information.
Planning a funeral service can be a very difficult process for families who have just lost a loved one. But it's important to provide those who are grieving with a supportive environment in which they can begin to find closure, say goodbye, and come to terms with the loss.

Gathering with friends and family gives everyone the opportunity to connect, share memories, offer words of sympathy, and create a lasting network of comfort and support as they start the journey toward healing.Sometimes the thought of planning a funeral seems too difficult for those who've suffered a loss.

Met with a Robert Overmeyer to plan services for our beloved uncle. We just wanted a simple cremation and he lost his temper when we wouldn't buy other services. He kept staring at my chest and I even asked him to stop. He is a real creep and very rude. Look elsewhere for funeral services definitely NOT professional.

Robert and his staff are very professional and caring. This funeral home goes out of their way to make the ceremony respectful and they even have grief counseling resources. I wouldn't choose any other place to bury a loved one.
