Our child has been coming to Montessori Children's Cottage for one year. Within the year we’ve experienced the Montessori Children's Cottage has a high staff turnover and poor communication or lack thereof. We had the experience of three different directors within the year. There is no classroom structure or order my child was bitten and scratched on his face and neck. We never received an incident report or any type of communication from the teacher or director in regards to this matter. Montessori Children's Cottage has an unsafe environment for children and we highly do NOT recommend you send

I did a tour of this daycare, and had a very positive experience. I was told by the director MULTIPLE times that in order to hold a spot for my son, I would need to put down a deposit, and that this deposit was completely refundable. At the time, I thought that would be wonderful, as I had toured another daycare and liked it a tiny bit more, but was waitlisted. We decided not to go with this daycare, and then I was told by the receptionist that the deposit was not refundable (I called them to attempt to get the money back). She was not very polite, and said “go look at the contract you signed

My son really enjoys attending this school. The interior of the building needs updating, they only have 1 Montessori certified teacher, and they keep raising tuition rates, so I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. The teachers are all fantastic, they have swimming classes during the summer, and my son is learning a lot and thriving there.

Viewed this school recently, although dated and in need of an update the staff seemed friendly. After viewing the school twice we tried calling several times to discuss registration, left several messages, emailed several times and unfotrunatly got no returned calls or emails. Weeks have past and we have now registered at another local school (thankfully, as we like the newer one much better) Seems like a nice school but customer service is much lacking.
