I started the family business in Chicago, IL in the fall of 2013 after graduating from Northern Illinois University. I had been working with furniture for a few years and knew I had something special that I could offer clients in their time of stress. I understand situations come up that cause rescheduling but but there is a certain amount of professionalism that comes with fixing the situation. The first reschedule I was told 30 minutes before they were supposed to arrive. The second time 5 and a half hours after the were potentially suppose to arrive!! So we would be out another two days now to get our things moved. If your feeling lucky and want to role the dice on your move. By all means give them a try. The only good thing I can say is they actually refunded our money which is more than other former customers were lucky enough to get according

I had the opportunity to work with this company for the move to my new home. After weeks of searching I settled on this company as their rates couldn’t be bet. Up front pricing so there were no surprises.
The company was very helpful regarding preparing for my move. Most of all they were accommodating as my closing was pushed back and I had to have my mover reschedule( which was done at no charge)
My movers ( Rey and his crew) were absolutely the best! They played no games getting me packed up and unloaded.
The also took excellent care of my belongings and my home.

Great service! Black owned! My move was originally scheduled for 8/31/21. DD called me to inform me that my move would have to be rescheduled to the next day. He contacted me early to let me know so I wouldn’t be waiting. Isiah and his team arrived on time the following day to move all my belongings. His team had excellent communication skills, positive attitudes, and good teamwork. They handled my belongings with care and were careful not to damage any fragile items. Will recommend to friends and family.

I’m really disappointed in RMS movers… I had so many items broken….glass items placed face down, in my storage unit, with no protection, and I cannot find any of the screws to my $5000 peloton treadmill, hence I cannot put the treadmill back together again…
I will admit that I had a lot of items to be moved, but the placement in the storage unit made it difficult to find anything, things were broken, and I think they got tired after a while so it took them sooooo long (8 hours). We paid over $1300 to move 5 miles. In addition, I tipped each mover (3) $65 EACH. I’m so disappointed. I’ll

Really not great, the movers were nice and worked hard, but they weren’t set up for success or supported. RMS told me that the staff would assemble and disassemble furniture. When three workers showed up with a screwdriver and a pair of pliers between them I was very concerned at the time it would take. So I ended up doing all of that work with my own power tools.
Most importantly a mover was carrying a vintage dresser upstairs by himself and absolutely destroyed it. He and the dresser fell down a flight of stairs, tore huge holes in our wall, and cracked two of our stairs. In compensation we
