We're a family-owned and operated business and wish to take care of your signage needs, like family. Payne's team of Owners, Designers, Fabricators, Installers, Service and etc. personnel have over 400 years of combined sign industry experience.
Services
Payne Sign Company has been growing since 1954 in Springfield MO. Having outgrown two previous facilities, our current location, 501 N. National Ave., includes a large metal fabrication area, two spray booths and a large graphics and design area. Mr. Jim Payne started this company in 1954 after studying Neon arts with help from the GI Bill.
Payne Sign Company offers design services from new logo creation to complete identity and way finding programs. We can incorporate your existing designs, or give your business a brand new look to fit a new image. After the concept art, with your approval, is completed our artisans take over. The experience range in our shop covers good ole' time hand brush painting to computer-aided design and manufacturing.
No other product can deliver the look and reliability of neon. Over the years many products have been made to "appear" to be neon but cannot reproduce the long term efficiency of the real thing. Internally illuminated signs portray your image without a spoken word. Quality and design make you shine through the daylight and the lighting keeps your logo powerful and visible after dark.

I had a horrible experience. Not sure what the other reviewers are seeing. I will never go back or even bother to call them again. Lots of other sign companies, i highly recommend you look at your options.
Good news is my sign worked, everything else i had/will have to fix myself.
Poor communication led to a 3.5" pole with a 4.5" bracket when from the start the goal was to use the original pole.
The installation was fast but look at the pics i'm attaching to see how incredibly poor of a job was done.
My indoor receiver killed my internet every morning until i updated firmware and did some tweaking
