Founder Steve Nordyke has dedicated his entire professional career to helping individuals and families whose lives have been shattered by personal injuries. Born and raised in Butler, Missouri, Hope Nordyke McCoy took to law early. She began working at Nordyke Law Offices in high school and continued through college. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Central Missouri with undergraduate degrees in political science and psychology.
While obtaining her law degree from University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, she was a staff member of the Law Review and the Urban Lawyer Journal and she participated on the mock trial team.Hope also interned at the Jackson County Prosecutor's Office, the Missouri Court of Appeals for the Western District, and worked at a plaintiff injury law firm.

Debbie co-founded Nordyke Law offices with her husband Steve in 1983. As the the office manager, she has been instrumental in growing the firm while maintaining lasting relationships with clients and the community. Debbie wears many hats but her priority is to make sure clients feel at home and everything goes smoothly - much in the way she does with her own family of three children and three grandchildren.
In car accident cases, it often comes down to who caused the collision or who was the negligent party. Sounds simple? It's not! Negligence is used to prove that one acted carelessly or in a thoughtless manner such as failing to yield, running a red light and reckless driving.
