The issue with addiction, however, is that drugs and alcohol are only a symptom of the problem. A common misconception about addiction is that once alcohol and drugs are eliminated from the picture, everything will be fine.
Addicts and alcoholics commonly begin experimenting with drugs and/or alcohol at a young age. Consequently, many often become "stuck" at an emotional level of maturity and may not develop or use many basic "life skills" throughout this period. This phenomenon is termed "arrested development."

I arrived at this place with nowhere else to turn and at the end of my road. The best clinicians I have ever experienced help to change my life and give me hope again. Ebb Tide has absolutely changed my life for the better! I entered scared, felt worthless and had very little confidence within myself. I have built incredible relationships and am happy of the man that I have become today. Ebb tide was something that I have never experienced in treatment. This place helped me change my life. I came in from a 2 year run being homeless, was hit by a car, and arrested. They taught me how to help myself, and helped me bring the real me back that has been buried and lost for so long. Laura is an amazing therapist, and Joe is one the most charismatic owners i've ever met, and stays super involved. These people GENUINELY care.

This is hands down the best place I have ever been apart of in my life. In life we get what we put into something, and here at this treatment center they have a great staff, living arrangements and accommodate you to your needs. This place has given me hope and helped make me feel like a good human being again in my life. It only works if you work it and if nothing changes nothing changes. Best therapists in the country in my opinion!

Ebb Tide is a awesome and very special place. It helped me find out why I kept using and got down to the core problems.
The level of therapy is unreal. The EMDR is something else of its own. They really go out of there way to make sure you are taking care of. The staff is friendly. I am so blessed and will forever remain grateful for ebb tide. Thank you ebb tide for helping save my life and helping me.

I was in employed at ebb tide and was let go for not following proper protocol on a policy that was enacted that very morning without any warning or attempt at correction. I was shorted on a previous check and was promised it would be made up for on my next check but when I attempt to reach out they blocked my number. I put in a total of 80 hours and was paid for 24. Techs seemed to be disposable and unappreciated as the tech with the longest tenure at my time of employment was only employed for 3 months. As far as client care moral seemed to be above average as they were picked up of the street

I have enjoyed my time here. The staff is amazing. I am leaving here with a vast knowledge of how to stay in recovery and live a life free of resentments and sober. Ebbtide has helped me with my mental help in ways I never imagined I would receive. I highly recommend this center to anyone that needs freedom in their life. I can not wait to come back to share my journey to those who need hope in their lives, it is here in these rooms they will receive it.

When I came to Ebb Tide Treatment Center, one hundred days ago, my life was completely out of control and unmanageable . I had lost everything including my wife, children, and job. I honestly felt there was no hope for me. With the help of highly knowledgeable staff and my compassionate and motivating therapist my life has turned around 100%!
