We've posted that presentation here for those who were unable to attend. We are proud to embrace traditional values, diversity and innovation in honoring the spirit and life of each person we serve. Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home offers a home-like environment enabling family and friends the opportunity to honor, remember, and process the loss of their loved one in a meaningful and effective way.
Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, provides a light, comfortable atmosphere for services or gatherings. Our facilities can easily seat more than 200 people for a formal service, or can be arranged in a more open and informal manner. Flat Panel screens are available for memorial video presentations, as well as providing visual and audio participation in any area of the facility.
No one can say for sure if they will be in Rockland, Maine come 2050. However, the memories, stories, and philosophies of those who participated in the Family Time Capsule project created by the Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home will certainly be around. This was no ordinary burial vault, though.
That's why gathering together with others who have experienced a similar loss can be helpful, especially as the holiday season approaches. Our peer support groups are a safe, confidential place for exploring thoughts, feelings, questions, memories, laughter, tears. Our intention is to be open, nonjudgmental, to be companions to each other through this sometimes difficult journey.

The staff here is absolutely fabulous! They are kind, caring and very compassionate! They are very understanding when your in a time of need. They are willing to working with you to meet your needs and what your family member would have wanted. They make sure that services are run smoothly and there are many options for services and other items.
