The Core is proud to offer childwatch services, as well as licensed before and after school care. The Core serves approximately 3,500 members of all ages, offering licensed childcare, summer day camp, swim lessons, senior field trips, adult sports leagues, a variety of fitness programs, and much more.

Services
A group of volunteers and donors committed to improving the quality of life in Allen County joined forces to renovate and expand the old Allen County High School into a full recreational center. With the support of the Laura Goad Turner Charitable Foundation and many other cheerful givers, the current 40,000 sq.ft.
Today the Core serves over 3,200 members of all ages. We offer licensed childcare, summer day camp, swim lessons, youth sports, martial arts, senior field trips, adult sports leagues and a large variety of fitness programs for every level. We encourage community participation through our programs, and consider ourselves the sports center of the Scottsville Community.
104,000 gallon indoor pool, with five 25 meter lap lanes, 6-person hot tub, dry sauna, steam room, and 140.000 gallon outdoor pool with a zero-entry, with three water slides. Reduced fees for most of the CORE's programs, such as volleyball, basketball, gymnastics, martial arts, swim team, and soccer.
