David Mortvedt, D.D.S. graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 1993. He gained his Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences from the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Mortvedt continues to further his dental education and knowledge by taking courses with the Implant Society of Northern Virginia.

I have been going to Haymarket Family and Cosmetic Dentistry for about 10 years now. I will NEVER go anywhere else!! All of the staff is super friendly and welcoming!! They make you feel like family. Every staff member that has worked on or cleaned my teeth has been super gentle! Instead of cringing at the dentist, they make me feel so relaxed and when I had an emergency, they were able to squeeze me in!! I love this office

From Brittany's efficient pre-appointment phone call and welcoming vibe checking me in for my first ever visit to the practice 12/2/20, to Kelly's professionalism and code of excellence in thoroughly performing my cleaning (it had been years since my last), I couldn't have been more pleased. Kelly is awesome! Karena and Julie continued this superb service during my follow-up for a couple fillings on 1/5/21, and DDS Mortvedt was a pleasure on both occasions - he's clearly a skilled professional at his craft. Overall, the practice is clean and has a nice "feel", staff also enforced appreciated Covid
