At Northstar Dental we are dedicated to maintaining your family's beautiful smile. We accommodate patients of all ages, including children. Call us today to schedule your comprehensive exam, digital x-rays and teeth cleaning. For children who need fluoride and sealants, we can provide those services at the time of your appointment.
A dental crown restores a tooth's shape, size and strength. Our office works with a full-service dental lab that offers many suitable options and Dr. Paape can recommend which type of crown is best for your needs. A bridge is a fixed replacement for one or more missing teeth. We work with a full-service dental lab that can aesthetically match the bridge to your existing smile.
If you are experiencing tooth pain or sensitivity; discomfort when chewing or drinking something cold; facial swelling; or general dental discomfort, you may have an infection in one or more of your teeth. After an accurate diagnosis from Dr. Paape, we may be able to alleviate your symptoms and save your existing tooth with a root canal.
Sometimes a tooth is not able to be saved and needs to be extracted. Dr. Paape performs a range of oral surgery, from simple single-tooth extractions to complicated wisdom teeth extractions. After the tooth is removed, we can start talking about how to best replace your missing tooth with a dental bridge, implant or denture.
If you have lost or are missing teeth due to an injury, dental decay or periodontal disease, dental implants are a great way to replace your missing tooth and restore function and aesthetics. Dr. Paape was awesome and professional. He squeezed me in last minute when my tooth had an issue come up. The office and the staff were clean and made me feel safe during this pandemic. He’s been taking care of my family’s dental needs for many years now and does excellent work. Plus side, he’s great with kids.
