Our team consists of professional clinical and front office assistants. Our present orthodontic team has been together for more than 3 years. Any questions or concerns about your orthodontic care can be answered by one and all. When you come into our office we will greet you with a friendly and warm smile and caring attitude.
Though an orthodontist can enhance a smile at any age, there is an optimal time period to begin treatment. Beginning treatment at this time ensures the greatest result and the least amount of time and expense. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that the initial orthodontic evaluation should occur at the first sign of orthodontic problems or no later than age 7.
There is much literature and clinical evidence to show that early treatment is the most effective treatment to help with correction of malocclusions and facial esthetics. Our patients may range in age from 7 years to 60 or so years of age. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends examining children at 7 years of age in order to diagnosis and correct conditions which can adversely affect dental and facial growth and development.
No, it is not. Many of our patients are referred by their family dentist, yet many other patients take the initiative to schedule an examination themselves. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends an orthodontic screening at age 7. By this age, several permanent teeth in most children have erupted, allowing us to effectively evaluate your orthodontic condition.
With braces your teeth alignment can sometime look or get worse (i.e.: spaces may increase, teeth may protrude more) before getting better. During the initial alignment of the teeth, sometimes existing spaces become wider and even teeth without spacing can become spaced. Spaces are sometimes a side effect of braces and many times spaces are created purposely in order to facilitate proper tooth movement and good alignment of teeth.

Hands down the best orthodontist in Elk Grove !
Dr. Mayweather is my family's orthodontist. Since kids, my sister, brother, and I went under his care. We all had a great experience and amazing results- hence why my mom kept bringing each of us back.
To start off, my mom found Dr. Mayweather through word of mouth. After getting a quote on how much it would cost and how long I would have to wear it, my mom was sold! She also loved the idea that I didn't need to pull out any teeth. He said I had a choice because I was borderline of pulling out 4 of my teeth or keeping it all All the

Very professional and courteous staff. Dr. Mayweather is friendly, takes his time while working with you, and is knowledgeable. I had a great experience here. I'm glad my friend referred me to his office. I was also fortunate to switch to Dr. Archibald next door for my dentistry needs. I would recommend Dr. Mayweather and his staff to anyone. I'm very happy with the results of my treatment!

I know I'm so bad for not checking into this place. Been coming here for my daughter for 2 years & more already. Love love the staffs and Dr. MAYWEATHER! They work super well with the patients by taking their time. The staff always call a few days ahead to confirm your appointment & Even if you leave a message they get back to you quickly, never 2 days later!
My daughters been referred here by our dentist to get braces & it's been wonderful. Good thing I had good insurance, only paid half for the cost. However, I was able to do monthly payments with no interest.

I've been visiting this office for a few months now & so far the service and treatment have been great. I got braces in late 2015 & they thoroughly explained how to card for them & sent me home with a folder of helpful information. The office is clean, staff is friendly, and they all seem extremely knowledgeable. They also provide financing options in house.

I have known Dr. Mayweather for a number of years and he is a VERY good orthodontist. He really cares about his patients and makes sure your teeth look great. In addition, his staff of Erica, Jackie and Kuiana have been with him for a number of years and they really know their stuff. Very professional office!
