Scott has been in the horticulture field since 1986. He is a graduate of Pinkerton Academy where he started taking horticulture classes. He graduated from the University of New Hampshire Thompson School of Applied Science Horticultural Technology Program. For nine years, Scott was employed with a prominent landscaping company working his way from laborer to a division manager.
In 1996, he founded Shade Tree Landscaping where he keeps his eyes on the details. Scott enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, skiing, snowmobiling and motorcycling with his wife and two children. Valerie joined the company in 2008 as the Office Manager to oversee all accounting and financial reporting/management for the company.

We called Shade Tree Landscaping and I was told Scott would call my husband, which he never did. I called back a few days later and said we still had not had a call from Scott and needed a landscape rework done at our home in Auburn. He came to the phone and I made an appointment for him to come out the following week. When I told him we had some erosion that we needed filled, he balked at the fact that any land was sloping in Auburn.
