He teaches special needs dental care at Western University, College of Dental Medicine as an Assistant Professor.

I first met Dr. Jerry Minsky back in 1985 when my then 4-year old daughter, Abby, had crashed into a playmate's head and loosened her front two baby teeth. I found him listed in an insurance book and chose him because his name sounded friendly. LOL Well, I had no idea at the time how very, very lucky we were to find him. He bonded her teeth back in, saving them, and I made him our dentist for the next 14 years. In his wonderful Cerritos Mall office, he took care of our teeth, from root canals and veneers on me to sealants and fluoride on her (her teeth are gorgeous today because of him), and did

During COVID-19 I broke my top right front tooth over a weekend and needed it repaired. My regular dentist was closed so I began calling other dentists associated with my insurance. Many of the other dentists I called were also closed considerably so. One dentist I called was not kind to me and insulted my ability to pay for the treatment. When I called Dr. Minsky, he listened to me and asked me what other dentists were saying and when I told him all the speed bumps I was hitting, he went ABOVE AND BEYOND to give me information to understand what procedures were considered "emergency"

I'm impressed by Dr. Minsky's professionalism and couldn't have found a better Dentist to care for my daughter who has special needs and requires anethstesia. Great person. Dr. Minsky did a great job on my molar extraction at the Anaheim health fair. He always made sure I was comfortable and in no pain. Definitely recommend him! I had a particularly difficult extraction but he handled it with patience and professionalism. Plus he is very kind and has a great bed side manner.

I have been searching for a dentist that works with special needs adult. I finally found Dr. Minsky You don't normally get to actually talk to the dentist, but his staff. I talked to him for over a half hour. He asked all the questions about my special needs daughters health instead of just seeing her. I couldn't be happier with the amount of personal care he gave us over the phone. I would whole heartedly recommend this caring dentist!

After visiting four different dental offices to figure out what was wrong with my sore jaw and tooth, Dr. Minsky was able to solve the mystery! Almost immediately he saw the problem was with my bite alignment, something the other four dentists hadn't bothered to check. After a few quick adjustments to my bite, three weeks of pain have vanished! Thanks Dr. Minsky!
