I am originally from Louisville KY and married to one of the most amazing women I have ever met. We have 4 kids (20, 17, 13 & 11). We moved to Redding in 2012 but I have been painting houses since 1981. I started painting right out of high school working with a painting contractor for 2 years then began to work for myself.
I've been working independently ever since. I have always had plenty of work from the many customers who were happy to refer us. Over the years I have spent time serving as a missionary to Albania and as Associate Pastor in our home church back in Kentucky, all the while keeping my hand either part time or full time in the painting trade.

We are a full-service family owned painting company in the Redding area. We are licensed, insured and bonded for your protection. We have 2 core values that guide our business. At Talbot Painting Services we want to earn your business through our good name, hard work and honest dedication to making your home and business look amazing. We love working with home owners, designers, general contractors and office managers regardless of how large or small the project may be. Both interior and exterior work, trim and walls, even cabinets.
It is important for you to know I highly value your time and endeaver to promptly keep every appointment we make. If for some reason I can not make our appointment or am running late, I will communicate with you before hand. Everything I say I will do. I will do. If we decide to make changes it will be after discussing it over with you.

Tim and his crew did AMAZING work on our house. Tim is easy to get ahold of and is extremely responsive. He and his crew showed up on time every morning ready to work. My husband is quite particular about things (OCD) and Tim would begin each day eager to learn if there was anything he needed to address. My husband only had a couple questions/observations along the way and Tim was happy to accommodate. We have already received compliments from the neighbors on our beautiful home. Tim has painted my whole house along with doing many touch up jobs inside. My wife rode an electric scooter and had a habit of hitting walls especially the corners and door jams. Tim has come back time and again and made repairs such that it looked like it never happen.

Tim and his crew painted the outside of our home and shed. They were outstanding. They also painted the doors going into our house from the inside of the garage. I am an artist and a meticulous person myself so a bit hard to please. Their prep work, caulking, priming, etc.. was meticulous. They showed up each day at 8am and worked steady to 4:30pm with a lunch break. They were all very considerate of us, our home and property. Cleaned up completely every day. Tim explained the different types of paints available to us for our weather, exterior of home and the difference in price between them before

I can’t say enough about the fantastic job that Talbot Painting did on my house. Talbot Painting Services just finished painting the exterior of my home and guesthouse and I couldn’t be happier with the results! From day one, Tim was very responsive and worked with me to achieve the vision that I had for my place. They were always on time, worked hard throughout the day and had an impeccable eye for detail. Tim and his team were also able to transform the exterior rock wall on the house that had a dated “70s look” to a beautiful natural looking piece of art. It is a real showstopper!
