We believe that preschool age children have an infinite capacity to learn and a natural curiosity about the world around them. We only have to create an environment that serves this purpose. This is how we do it. We have a work room where children work with hands-on learning materials.
These materials cover a broad range of subjects, the phonetic alphabet, Montessori math concepts, geography, world and space, training of all the senses, spacial relations, visual perception, and numerous other concepts.All the materials stress organizational skills and step-by-step procedure. They foster self-motivated learning and staying on task.

Mrs. Tami Christofferson is the owner and director of Cinnamon Hill Preschool. She has worked at the school for over 12 years and brings us into the realm of a family business. We hope to continue on for many years to come. Our co-director, Mrs. Candace Christofferson, has taught in the elementary public schools, and in Montessori Preschool.
For regular classes which begin at 9:00 A.M., the doors open at 8:50 A.M. We ask that children be picked up promptly after classes are over at 11:30. We ask that a responsible adult accompany each child into the school, and be there at pick-up time, in order to allow us to release each child directly from their classroom to the responsible adult.
We like to meet with our prospective parents and allow them to ask any and all questions and really get to know about us. Our phone number is 605-343-2978. Mrs. Marlene Parker is our registrar. She has taught at the school for many years and has the experience to help with all inquiries. She very much enjoys meeting with all our prospective children and parents.
Cinnamon Hill has been the best experience for our family! All our children will have excellent memories and endearing friendships from their time there. The kids adore the teachers, love the curriculum and have shown true excitement for learning from their experience at Cinnamon Hill! As parents, we loved watching our children grow and created great friendships with the teachers and other familie.
