Upon impact of hail, the hail stone damages the surface of the shingle and removes the protective shingle granules. When this happens it allows for heat and sunlight to reach the unprotected shingle surface. This causes the shingle to begin to degrade and tear. This degradation leads to leaking roofs.

I would never ever recommend K 1 Construction. They lied about what was being done. When it would be done. They were rude to us and our neighbor when we kept calling to get answers on work schedule. They did not care if work had been done or how it had been done. It is ELEVEN months since we hired them and finish were is still not done. Definitely a NO

After purchasing a home that had a legal document that stated they would still complete the work even though I was not the homeowner at the time of initial claim, I am still waiting for the work to be finished 8 months after purchasing the home. The initial claim was from June 2019. I originally used them back with my first house and they closed the claim and filed it to my insurance saying it was completed even though they never came to do the project. Poor book keeping on their part and do not return calls in a timely manner.

Alex was super friendly and really knowledgeable on all the products we were using. He was able to handle everything in our claim so we did not have to work with 10 different companies. Alex even fought with the insurance company so they would replace damages the adjuster overlooked. Couldn't be happier!
