I don't leave many reviews, but I just have to leave one for Premier. We started taking our daughter when she was 3 months old - she's 2 now, and the Premier teachers and staff feel like family. I know that my daughter is going to be loved and cared for while she is there, and that means a lot (especially for a first-time mom like me). They frequently have a waiting list, and I understand why - the quality of the programs, the communication between staff and parents, and the facilities are all excellent. I'm so thankful to have found Premier - our daughter has blossomed over the past two years

My husband and I go through Bright Horizons for back up care and we can't say enough nice things about Near the Pier Development Center. They've always been available for us in a pinch or planning ahead. I know our kids are well taken care of when we drop them off.
Not only are they there for us but for our 2 children love going. The staff is so caring, very friendly, and always answers any questions we have.
This is our go to back up center because of the quality care they provide for our family.
Thank you!

I was nervous when choosing a daycare for my son. I knew after enrolling him at Premier Childcare that we made the right choice. It is always so welcoming and the staff goes above and beyond to create a relationship with the children and the families. The ladies at the front desk always welcome my child by name. I wouldn’t send my child anywhere else.

This is completely untrue! Do not discredit me or my review. That is incredibly unprofessional and i have no reason to lie. In fact, we used your services through Bright Horizons. We filed this same complaint with Bright Horizons and were not charged a fee.

You previously messaged me, several months ago, with this same sentiment. I respectfully replied that I had already filed a complaint.

So disappointing that an establishment would say something like this...the same business owner who private messaged me on Jan 27th.

How can you tell whether or not i was at your facility based off my Yelp

I had my first baby in July of 2018 and was dreading returning to work. When we dropped our then 12 week old (Henry) off on his first day, Ms. Tonia (Director) and Ms. Nayda both let me and his Dad stay as long as we wanted, and they kept giving him back to me for just one more kiss goodbye. They know how to help new parents in ways we don't even realize we need help. I routinely forget our diaper bag at school and Ms. Tonia always checks it to make sure no dirty bottle will sit overnight. We get pictures and videos of our little man doing so many fun things, and that is in addition to the

This place is INCREDIBLE! I work part time, and when I am in a pinch, I drop my 22month old daughter off here. I never worry for a minute while she is there because the staff is SO welcoming, loving, and happy when they see her! I know my daughter has fun because when I leave she says 'bye' and runs to play! The first time I picked her up, I was in awe because all the kids were sitting at the table doing flash cards with a teacher. The kids were so well behaved- says a lot about the teachers. The teachers also speak to the kids so politely and like they are adults! The director, Ms. Tonia

My two boys attended Premier. My eldest had just been kicked out of another school because of ADHD issues and they didn’t want to deal with. Premier not only accepted my son, but worked with him and us constantly to ensure a positive learning experience for him. My youngest was at Premier from 7 months - they were wonderful with him - they taught him to walk, they potty trained him, they just loved him and what more can you ask for? This is an excellent daycare.

Both of my boys started at Premier at the age of 4! They attended until they were ready to start kindergarten! Not only were they completely ready for kindergarten mentally but socially as well! My children were treated by each and every employee there with love and kindness! I never had a single moment where i was dissatisfied with anything in the 4 years i had my kids there! I was very emotional when the kids were done there and were going to enter into kindergarten! They loved my children and i could see this everyday they came here! My boys adored each teacher and especially the front desk

Premier is like family! My two sons been going there since they were babies. I never had a problem with any teachers. They are very understanding and willing to help. Never encountered anyone being rude. I go to work with a peace of mind when I leave my son in their care. My son enjoys going there!

We have been with Premier Childcare and Learning Center for nine years with all three of my children - infant through pre-school and now before and after school care. I cannot say enough about the the staff, curriculum, and learning environment they have created. All three of my children have entered kindergarten incredibly well prepared and ready to excel. Additionally, while my two boys have had learning and behavioral challenges the staff never gave up, always patient and flexible, looking to explore new ways together with us - as a team - to address head on. I truly cannot thank Premier enough

Being a new mom, one of the hardest decisions that I had to make was to choose the best care for my baby when I went back to work after three months of maternity leave. (I mean, I’m looking for and trying to select a complete stranger or multiple to essentially replace myself —to hold her, feed her, nurture her, respond to all of her needs for 8-10 hours a day, five days a week-NOT an easy task). I had mixed emotions about daycare, and honestly, I initially hoped to find a home daycare or nanny- it just sounded cozier and more comfortable. I did like the idea of structure, regulation, and affordable

Such an amazing educational daycare. I have five children and over the past 9 years, I have felt re-assured being a working mom sending my kids there. I can’t express enough how much this center brings joy to our family. The relationships we have built here are irreplaceable. My children look forward to going to Premier and playing/learning each and every day. My children who are in primary/middle school were kindergarten ready thanks to the curriculum and schedule that Premier administers. My family and I are so grateful for our Premier family. I would recommend this center to anyone looking

Even before I had my babies I heard great things about Premier. Then when it was time to find a place for Jocelyn to go to school, I chose a place closer to home. Big mistake. We then went for a tour of Premier and decided it was much better. One more baby and four years later, we have never regretted the change. Every teacher is loving and kind, and I appreciate the level of education my babies receive every day. The teachers have absolutely helped them reach milestones that I couldn’t have done alone. And they continue to learn and grow every day in an environment of friendship and kindness

Today I shadowed my granddaughter with her mom at Near The Pier Development Day Care Center. As an educator, there are things that immediately grab my attention as it pertains to quality daycare. Did I get a warm, inviting feeling when I entered? Did I feel my granddaughter would feel safe here? Did I get a genuine feeling of a well prepared, loving staff? As my granddaughter's mom and I left our baby to monitor her activities via an app on an IPad, I wondered if she would be made to feel comfortable adapting to a new environment. Did I see happy, content, well cared for infants, toddlers

Near the Pier Development is amazing. I called to inquire about enrollment/touring the facility. I was told that Ms. Tonia Evans would return my call to go over the details. I received a call back from her on a Friday evening and we talked for about 30 minutes - this is very rare. You could hear the fervor and excitement about Near the Pier radiating through the phone.

My son and I went on the tour today and he absolutely enjoyed himself. I consider myself to be a very involved and intentive parent, and I definitely was not let down. The staff is attentive and unified. The kids are genuinely

This place sucks. The education and food for your child is deplorable. The management, which has changed twice in less than a year, is never able to provide the services they advertise. The "Corporate Office" is indicative of the said management. There are no additional languages taught other than ebonics, in which most of the staff speaks fluently. Also, it appears the infants education is higher than the staff...
are they even qualified as I was led to believe. The edible choices for your child are a joke in today's market of upscale daycares, of which they consider themselves

My children attended the daycare for over 4 years. My daughter transitioned into each classroom through out the years and was very well cared for at each stage of her development. We have since moved out of town and they attend a new school. She is more advanced than the other children in her new pre-school class because of Near the Pier. I sincerely feel the teachers loved and cared for both of my children and I never had concerns about the care that was provided to them. My son was adored in the infant room.

This place is a joke, I would not send my children to these loud mouth uneducated people ever. the teachers are very mean to the children, being very aggressive, & on edge. I think children can sense when adults are agitated and I don't believe people that cant handle children should be working with them. this place is in desperate need of a paint job, and a makeover on the staff and the building, it looks scary and ghetto and the staff are in their pajamas, why would I pay tons of money to drop my children off to some uneducated 22 year old that speaks ebonics? Its honestly embarrassing

This place does business with heart. We have been looking at several infant care services around, and - while Near the Pier might not appear as new or organized as some others at 1st sight - it is an incredible place for children.

There's always a good vibe in there, children are playing, smiling, having a good time. Our little one is always well attended for in the infant room, all teachers are cordial, professional, and they seem to care for our baby as if it was their own.

The head master Monica has been in business for 26+ years and it clearly shows. Unlike other places where
