One of the first steps in the home buying process is to consult with a mortgage lender about your financing options. When you know what you can afford, you can focus your home search and make your move more quickly when you find the property you want. It is important to choose a local lender with long term experience and a track record of excellence.
If you are a first-time home buyer, use the guide below for helpful hints and tips and learn how to avoid common mistakes when buying your first home in Phoenix Metropolitan Area, AZ. Pre-Qualification: Meet with a mortgage broker and find out how much you can afford to pay for a home. Pre-Approval: While knowing how much you can afford is the first step, sellers will be much more receptive to potential buyers who have been pre-approved.
Before the offer to purchase is created, it is very important that you have been at least pre-qualified or better yet pre-approved by a lender. When you are buying a home, there are many problems that the seller is obligated to disclose. For example, in most states, it is illegal to withhold information about major physical defects on the property, but these disclosures don't always paint the entire picture of the home.
You've found your dream home, the seller has accepted your offer, your loan has been approved and you're eager to move into your new home. But before you get the key, there's one more step--the closing. Also called the settlement, the closing is the process of passing ownership of property from seller to buyer.

Our experience with Gabe Galindo from A.Z. and Associates was unacceptable and unbelievable. He was our buyer's realtor. On the 10/22/21 we were scheduled to sign documents and close that afternoon. (We had already moved so the house was vacant for over a month and we live two hours away.) That morning our realtor received a notification from her smart lock box on our house that it had been opened. No one had notified her they would be going to the house so she decided to drive by, because it was suspicious. When she drove up, she saw two handyman standing at our front door with bags of tools

Patrick Foster has been so incredible to work with! We are making a move from out of state and thought we would have to make trip after trip when the first visit wasn't fruitful. Patrick saved us so much time (and money!) by video chatting with us for our viewings. He went above and beyond what I have ever experienced with a real estate agent. Want to know how big the soak tub is? NO PROBLEM! He just hops in to show you. The yard is big, he'll literally run to the corner to show you the distance. So personable, friendly, funny, quick, and responsive. Oh, and did I mention, funny? He submitted

Rudy Flores is amazing ! I had just finished getting pre approved for a home loan & was told I would be having a realtor reach out to me to start viewing homes . No lie not even 10 minutes passed on that thursday rudy was calling to introduce himself ! By the next day we had 6 homes to look at ! By monday he had a offer in on a joke we absolutely loved ! I commend him on his amount of patience, I still to this day will text him with questions (1st time buyer ) and he replies so quick , yes even at night and weekends ! I believe that God puts people in your life that he already had planned

What amazing good luck it was to have Theresa Zech of AZ & Associates help us purchase our Arizona home! It was our best realty experience in over 50 years and 13 transactions. Theresa is exceptional in every way. She contacted us for months before our move from Washington State, refining our criteria; on our arrival, she had many properties to show us, and was very knowledgeable about the locations. After we chose our future home, she skillfully helped negotiate, and then provided all the complex information we needed. She was always just a call or text away. Thank you so much, Theresa!

A little background before going into greater depth. I began looking for homes in person mid March 2017, and quickly closed a little over a month later on April 26th 2017. I probably would still be looking for a home if Hillary Keys hadn't given me that nudge of guidance when she saw how impressed I was with the house I'd end up purchasing. Needless to say if you're looking for a realtor with 17+ years experience; who was always on time and even a text or call away at odd hours. Mind you there was a time she made availability at her inconvenience, and most importantly is serious
