Bought an engagement ring a couple months ago for close to $1000, 10k gold. This ring broke moments ago releasing the stone which is now nowhere to be found as my Fiance and I did not witness it.
The product and service seemed quite good to start but as of this recent disappointment, I seriously regret spending my money with Varsity Jewelers.
Don't give them your business.

Went shopping for a Tech ring and I'll admit their selection appeared nice. I was about to go through with the purchase of the traditional men's when it got brought up that no gold stamp is placed on their 10k ring. Rosalie gave some odd response to why they don't stamp their gold, went on a tangent about how they've been in business for 30yrs and from that point forward, this vendor lost all credibility. It made me hesitant to purchase anything from the store. Luckily my mother has a history of working in jewelry and thought to ask this question.
Between that and Rosalie's somewhat arrogant demeanor

I purchased my first TTU ring in 2008, had it for 11 years until my most recent trip to Lubbock this past week. Unfortunately, my ring was lost at the airport and I had to request a replacement ring. Amazingly they still carried the same style and Rosalie was super helpful in putting together an estimate for my insurance company. Within 72 hours my new ring was ordered and I'll be able to pick it up in a few weeks. Thank you, Varsity Jewelers!

Terrible customer service. Very in your face and didn’t listen to what I was asking for. I went in wanting more of a dainty class ring and they had a lot of options but when I picked one out she said “no one wears that ring” and “you’re going to come back and want a bigger ring in a month”. It was clear she was trying to up sell even though I knew what I wanted. The rings are pretty but I almost didn’t buy from there just because of the way she treated me as a customer.

Went in here today looking to buy a class ring with a healthy budget. I was greeted by a dark-haired woman who was rude to me from start to finish. Took me about 3 minutes to decide I did not want to do business with them. I will not be back and I do not recommend them. Awful customer service. No wonder the store was empty.
