We believe dentistry doesn't have to be dull and clinical, it should cater to a patient's needs and concerns. The entire Benifiel Dentistry team is dedicated to giving our patients a personalized, warm experience each time they walk through the door that makes them feel comfortable and content no matter what reason they have to visit us.
We don't think of you as a patient. We think of you as a friend. That's why we have kept our practice small enough to be genuinely individualized. We are not like some giant dental chains. We are not like the dental corporations you see ads for on TV. We don't have practices everywhere and doctors who come and go.

Services
A Neighbor You Can Count On A lifelong resident of the Michiana area, Dr. Benifiel was born in South Bend and graduated from John Adams High School. During high school and college summers, he worked at the Morris Park Country Club golf shop, and it was there he developed both his love for golf and his service-oriented philosophy.
To lessen the chance of contact with other patients, we ask that you call from the parking lot when you arrive and wait in your car. We will call you when we are ready to seat you for your appointment. Please use the hand sanitizer at the front desk as you enter the office. We ask you not to bring other family members to your appointment unless they are also receiving treatment or if you need them to provide you with transportation or assistance.
We believe that the healthiest teeth are natural teeth, so we work hard to protect and provide quality care via up-to-date diagnostic equipment. We want to detect problems before they compromise your teeth. We use the most advanced techniques and facilities for thorough assessment and comprehensive repairs.
We've all heard the old adage, and while we think this applies to almost everything in life, it is especially appropriate when it comes to dentistry. Your own teeth and enamel are usually the best, so keeping your mouth clean, healthy, and infection free is key. Knowing what is going on in your mouth helps you stay in charge of your health.
Cavities happens to the best of us. Those tooth-decaying bacteria are pretty opportunistic and will work on your teeth whenever they have the chance. It's why we recommend sealants and fluoride. If the cavity bugs get in there anyway and make a spot of decay, we can fix you right up. We remove the decayed area as conservatively as possible and then fill your tooth with tooth-colored composite filling material.

Everyone in this office is friendly and caring. Dr. Benifiel and his staff truly make every effort to be sure that you are well informed about that treatment that is needed in order to keep your smile healthy and beautiful. I recommend to anyone who is looking for a dentist to call and make an appointment!

Beware:
This is a modern and nice office space with current equipment. However, Dr. Benifiel advised me that I "urgently" needed a crown ($2000, or 1000 with insurance), and even tried to persuade me to do it right then and there, which I declined.
A month later, I went to a dentist back east, who didn't say a word about the tooth, despite seeing the same X-rays and examining me. When I asked this second dentist about it, he was both angry and embarrassed that a fellow professional would have advised this, and said "I don't know how these people sleep at night."

Excellent service! I've had my teeth cleaned and checked here twice now and I can honestly say I've never had a more pleasant experience at the dentist's! They were thorough, quick and gentle. They also explained everything to me first. They even dipped my hands in paraffin wax like at the manicurist's while I was having my teeth cleaned (this may appeal more to other women than male clients). I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Benifiel and company!
