I decided to go through Costco for my AC which led me to Cool Bear. Steven was very nice in explaining things and gave me my options. I opted for the 18 SEER multi-stage unit. He assured me this unit would be more efficient and much much quieter. I did not receive a confirmation call that my unit would be installed today and instead contacted Steven first. He said the crew was on their way. When the crew arrived, they were kind and helpful, intelligently starting with measuring my closet for the air handler. The one they were putting in didn't fit. I would definitely never ever recommend this company to anyone. They are such a ripoff, only trying to get your money. They installed an brand new AC, and had to come back because the AC wouldn’t turn it off. Not even a year later, an piece of the unit broke and just for the labor was $900. I had to buy two maintenance for them to lower the price, they did lower the price but only did one maintenance and counted as two. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I would have given them a -star if I could!
I bought a brand new air conditioning unit for my elderly mother from Cool Bear (via Home Depot) 9 months ago and the unit has stopped working 5 times! And the compressor has been changed twice! General Manager has not gotten back to me, despite several attempts to make contact with him! I am escalating this to Home Depot Leadership to see what can be done! This is ridiciulous!

I found out about Cool Bear through Costco. I was greeted on time by the professional and courteous sales rep who explained everything and was super patient in answering all my questions. We set up the installation and the two Cool Bear brothers were exactly on time, got to work immediately and by the early afternoon my home was cool. These two guys worked like a well-oiled machine and again so professional and respectful. The price was great with special Costco rebates. Don't hesitate to call Cool Bear Services.

I have been a customer of Cool Bear for a few years now. They installed a blower motor in September of last year in my unit. In May of this year they diagnosed that the blower motor that they installed needed to be replaced. They said that the labor would be free since it was less than a year that they replaced it and they would charge me for the part. In their estimate the part cost was in the lower four figures. I called the maker of the unit and the price of the part was about a quarter of their estimate. Cool Bear then agreed to charge me for the labor and I will buy the part. I had the part

As we all know our life has changed for worse after covid19.But still are some organization ,and Companies they are trying their best to get back on their routine ,and one of them is Cool Bear.They changed both our units on Jan/2018. WE could not ask for more professionalisms, it was outstanding, and because of their action we started using their maintenance since then.To be honest there is not any reason for me to pass such a outstanding service. On June 4/2021 I made appointment for yearly Service, again they were responsible enough to call and let me know day advance that tech has family problem

We seen a representative of Cool Bear Services at Costco and needed to get our A/C system replaced. I was 20 yrs old and needed replaced. We had Cool Bear Services give us a quote and after getting another Quote and looking at the reviews Cool Bear Services did our Home A/C install They were in at 9:30am and out by 4:30pm. the whole install was done by local and National Mechanical codes. They put down tarps at the paths used by installers as to bu dirty up the floors and also wore bootys to protect our hard wood floors. The install is Neat, Clean. I came to Cool Bear through Home Depot. I set up the consultation in the store, and got a confirmation call within a few hours, and got 2 more as well. Fernando arrived (he came early, called ahead to make sure it was OK) and took a look at everything. He gave me a price that was competitive with the others I had, so I accepted the proposal. They were able to install the very next day. They said between 8:00-10:00, and I saw the truck pull up at 7:45, but Vicks waited until 8:00 to knock on my door. The experience was very thorough and professional. Starting with Frankie M, the sales rep, who was early for the appointment with his mask in tow. I felt that I was getting very detailed information from him. I had previously had 2 other AC professionals out for quotes. I knew that by this point I needed major repair. I was pleased with how Frankie M walked around the entire house and stopped to explain different functions and of the unit. When I said I needed time to think about it, he was patient and I did not feel pressured. After comparing estimates, Cool Bear made sense. The service was great

My tenant was having an issue with her condenser pump. Sent cool bear over to look at it. I never heard back from them at all, but tenant said that the tech found no issues and didnt charge me at all, all he did was remove a PVC pipe. 12 hours later my unit was leaking and puddling on the floor. When I called the company and complained their excuse was "well we didnt charge you" . . . They were not able to promise an appointment the next day, instead they were to call me back but unsurprisingly did not. We went with a different company who came out the very next day, diagnosed the problem

Avoid using this company! Signed up with them through Home Depot, biggest mistake of my life. The AC was installed in July of 2018, and today, Feb 3, 2020 we still have not passed Final Inspection. This company is HORRIBLE with communication, I always have to call them to ask for updates and they say we'll call you back, but they never do. It has been an absolute nightmare.

My Friend hired this company to install An AC through Home Depot. Not only did they not install an AC they did damage to his ceiling and Alarm in the house. They un hooked a pipe in the ceiling and never re hooked it up there when the installer came to check on it instead of walking on the beams came right through the ceiling. this company is a joke. STAY AWAY

I purchase a a/c unit from Cool bear about a year ago and also purchase a one year maintenance contract, since the installation
I had to call them four different time to service the unit, that continue to shut down, and two of the appointments they never show up or call to say something.
I purchase the unit thought Home depot and they recommend
using Cool Bear. They need to REMOVE this company from their list as they are not doing satisfactory work. I hoping that the unit was install properly and all I need is to find a reparable company to service the

I wish I could say how the installation process went well but unfortunately I can't seem to get past the appointment process I scheduled an appointment many months ago in a Home Depot in which they never showed up we let that one go and continue using our window unit until its just too hot to deal with the window units and we're in the middle of a rehab on the house I called them on Friday and schedule an appointment for them to arrive today at noon and which I took the time off from work for a second time to be here and they did not show I called them at 12:10 to find out

My Lennox air conditioner stopped working 1 year and 1 day after installation by Cool Bear. Cool Bear was unwilling to discount labor costs despite the one(1) day post labor warranty expiration. Their customer service representative continuously restated the fact that the warranty expired yesterday. I did not dispute the expiration I simply requested consideration of the one(1) day factor in this situation. Despite my request for any assistance(discount) to reduce this cost I was provided nothing but an apology. There was a complete disregard for maintaining a positive existing customer relationship
