HDF Founder, Sheena Temple created a space where people always come first. You are treated like family and not a number. For the past 10 years we have added classes and services to continually serve each person who walks through our doors to the very best of our ability. Personal training is the service that High Desert Fitness was founded on. We pride ourselves in offering this one-on-one service that is tailored to your individual goals.
Services
We offer private, one-on-one sessions in our comfortable studio. Whether your goals are weight loss, improved mobility, or overall health and fitness, we can pair you with the right trainer for you. You can expect regular assessments to track your progress, and workouts designed with you in mind to push you towards your goals.
When you're ready to begin training, contact our office. You can do this by filling out the form on the "Get Started" page or by calling our office at (760) 377 - 7417. We will set you up with a consultation to pair you with one of our trainers and select a package that works best for you. From there, our trainer will reach out to set up your first session.
Our small group classes are just that, small! We cap our classes at 10 to ensure everyone gets the one-on-one attention they deserve. Follow us on Facebook at High Desert Fitness or on Instagram @high_desert_fitness_studios for the most up to date information. Ready to give us a try? Your first class is free!
Bootcamp is circuit style training with a combination of HIIT style workouts and strength training. We address full body fitness and focus on building muscle and keeping your heart rate elevated for about 45 minutes of hard work in between a warmup and stretch. The goal is to challenge you, but still have a class that is accessible to all levels of fitness through changes in weights, progressions, and regressions of the exercises.
Rock Steady Boxing (RSB) is a non-contact fitness program designed specifically for people with Parkinson's. Founded in 2006, by a young onset patient who wanted to challenge his disease, its origin comes from his personal regimen designed by a boxing trainer. Working with a coach on a modified boxing regimen to gain strength and agility, he noticed improvements in his health and a reduction in Parkinson's symptoms.

Love love love HDF!!! I have wanted to join for over a year and I finally did this past March! I only have one regret… NOT JOINING EARLIER!!!! I was super self conscious starting as I was in the very beginning stages of my journey. But, ALL the instructors (and the members too) have been great at encouraging me and even helping me realize I can do more than I give myself credit for! I love the small intimate classes, it makes it so I get more personalized attention to help with form and in helping me reach a little further. Between eating better and the classes, I am on a roll to reaching my

It's no longer a fitness center. It is now owned by Ridgecrest Vineyard Church which is a "Come as you are" Christian Church. It also provides a men's and women's ministry based recovery "Refuge" building Ridgecrest stronger one person at a time. We also have community outreach and therapy options in-house.

I have been a client at High Desert Fitness for at least 5 years and I can confidently say that it has brought an immense amount of joy and positivity to my life. Every single instructor is highly professional and yet incredibly personable and compassionate. They are very knowledgeable and they push you, but respect your boundaries and make necessary modifications depending on your situation. During COVID, they went out of their way to instruct us over zoom, and though they made it seem so simple, we all know how difficult it must have been for them to encourage movement on an online platform.

I began to workout at High Desert Fitness about 5 years ago, and it truly changed my life. My personal trainer put so much effort into creating workouts that catered to me; there was never a training day I wanted to skip. The environment is so incredibly friendly and positive, it truly feels like every person there is rooting for you to progress and improve :)

I work out with my mom a few times a week at High Desert Fitness. The trainers are really motivating and make working out fun! I am in middle school and I was so excited when they allowed me to start going to the training sessions. Other gyms in the area will not allow children to work out =(
HDF is awesome!

The gym space is great. I wanted to try out their personal training but they charged me almost $700 without asking me if I wanted to commit to their program. I wasn't planning on working with them because they didn't provide any kind of diet plan or nutritional help, which is critical for any fitness plan. I can't speak for they're other programs, but I'm not paying that much to have someone stand there and watch me exercise. No feed back, no form teaching, no nutrition; highly disappointed.

I started working out at HDF a little over a year ago. I had my consultation with the owner Sheena Temple and we discussed what my personal fitness goals were and the best way to achieve them. I needed a personal trainer who could help me achieve my goals while also taking into consideration various health problems I am dealing with. I signed up for a year of training sessions 3 times a week for 1 hour each session. I did this for six months. I was so satisfied with the results from working out with Sheena that I decided to increase my workouts to 4 times a week and started working with various

As a client for almost 8 years I can’t say enough positive things about HDF. Everyone is a family and in a positive vibe. My personal trainer works with all my injuries, medical problems, and frustrations. HDF is always clean, and offers classes for everyone. I highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed 😃

This gym has a great atmosphere, very exclusive and locate in a great location. I like that it is a private studio gym and I don't have to worry about waiting in line to use the machines! The gym is always clean and always smells good. I like that it is never crowed and I don't have to deal with a big crowd. The gym is very affordable and you get to speak with the owner instead of dealing with corporate problems. I wish there were more gyms like High Desert Fitness center !!
