I have a practice in Mobile, Alabama on 826 Lakeside Drive, Suite D, next to the FedEx building. I am an in-network provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield. I do not accept other forms of insurance at this time. I specialize in trauma and eating disorders. I also have a great deal of experience working with individuals who are struggling with a serious mental illness such as Bipolar Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder or Generalized Anxiety Disorder.

I am an in-network provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield plans. I provide individual counseling for pre-adolescents, adolescents and adults. I have a Cognitive Behavioral approach to counseling and utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) Models.

Mood Disorders encompass Bipolar Disorder, Major Depression Disorder and Anxiety Disorders. I provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT, ) Psychodynamic Interpersonal Counseling and Experiential Exercises to guide individuals with understanding and managing their symptoms. Counseling is helpful when someone is going through a major life change.
I was trained by Lane Gould-Hartline and Emily Whitt Psy. D. to work with teenagers and adults suffering from Eating Disorders. Alabama Psychiatric Services, P.C. provided an Intensive Outpatient Treatment in the Birmingham area and I was a counselor for individuals transitioning from this program in Mobile.
I offer a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Body Awareness and Experiential exercises to guide indivduals into gaining back their power.

Individuals who pursue counseling for Anorexia Nervosa may need to have a medical doctor and a nutritionist that are willing to work with me, so that the individual receives a team approach in addressing his or her Eating Disorder.The latest research suggests that there is a high comorbidity rate with eating disorders and trauma.

I scheduled with Amy for a loved one needing help. Two days later, we had a conflict. I sent multiple emails and web communications to ensure she would be able to cancel the original appt. and not lose the time slot. Over a week went by with no response, then I get a phone call yesterday. She requested information that had already been sent via email, but confirmed the appointment while we were on the phone. Last night, I get the email posted below. I thought therapist were supposed to have compassion and grace. These appointments have to be scheduled at least a month in advance. I have
