Great seafood. The staff is friendly and always ready to assist you. The salad bar is well stocked and the hush puppies are the best I have ever had. A large verity of seafood, fried, broiled or blackened. Don't miss Roy's if you are in town!

I just had the best grouper sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Onion rings are HUGE. Staff was very friendly. I’ll definitely be back.

We are from North Carolina.
We always try a different place each time in Florida visiting family,to sit down and enjoy a meal. The time was sunset and what a place to come and enjoy just that! With the sunset as a back drop for opportunities to do a photo shoot, so was a time to enjoy some seafood. Unfortunately I don't have pictures to show I'll come back later and post...
Seafood Platter: Scallops,Devil Crab, oysters, flounder, french Fries, clam chowder, salad, broccoli, baked potato, Broiled Grouper Entree, all the food we could possibly try and eat is what we did!!! Loved every bite!

Really good food! Some over seasoned and mildly salty but still edible. Friendly staff!

Last time and now this time, we got a $27 steak. Med rare, heavy on the rare. As last time, it was closer to med. Last time, they fixed it. This time, we didn't eat any of it, just notified the waitress. Who said she had to talk to the owner. Who then said they don't have many more steaks and since the same cook is cooking it, we won't be getting another. They're taking the steak off and charging only for the salad bar and fries. So, I guess, sorry about your steak, but enjoy your $12 salad and fries

Simply wonderful meal and experience. Our server, Ms. Shawn, was the sweetest gentle soul, but so efficient! We were in and out of there in no time but never felt rushed or hurried. The view is break taking. We love to watch the boats pass by. The food was outstanding, the best ever: oysters on half shell and blue crab claws for appetizers. Then we choose the specials: he had the grouper blackened and I had the red snapper blackened. Both were cooked to perfection and were delicious. I love that they accommodate us natives with guava jelly to go with our hush puppies.😇The salad bar was clean

The menu and atmosphere looked great. The salad bar was good. Service was a little on the slow side and they weren’t busy but no big deal on that. But the seafood was disappointing. The seafood platter, the flounder was bland at best obviously a frozen product, the mullet was fried with the skin on and still full of pin bones. The coconut shrimp was nothing but a sea Pak product I could get at Publix in the freezer. I’d probably stick with land food next time around

Great salad bar.
Reasonably priced foods and delicious. Our server worked her butt off...she stayed on top of all of our needs. Thank you! We know you are working hard and we appreciate it!
THE best carrot cake I've ever eaten.

First visit to Roy's in steinhatchee, located right on the river on a Saturday afternoon at the very beginning of scallop season. The river was alive with boats coming back in from scallop fields. The food was excellent and the service was great. A dozen sliders on the half shell, Texas oysters I'm told, an oyster poor boy, a shrimp basket and a mullet plate. Nobody left nothing!! Oh yes, there were the onion rings, first place I have been asked when I ordered onion rings do you want four or do you want six? What the heck! But if you will look at the first picture and see the size of the onion
