Hi! I'm Alishia, the photographer behind The Potter's Hand Photography. I'm married to my high school sweetheart, who currently serves as a pilot in the Army, and we have three wonderful kids who are all in their teens, so trust me - I do know just how quickly the little ones grow up!
I have been a photographer for ten years and must give a special shout out of thanks to my husband, for his dedicated support and for not complaining through countless sandwich dinners he prepared and endured while I worked to build my business from the ground up.Also, our children, who often help me out on location sessions and continue to amuse me as my muses - I am so grateful for you all!

I found this business a couple days before my planned trip to Alabama to visit my family to spend Mother’s Day with my mom. I wanted to take a professional picture with my siblings and give the photo to my mom as a gift. I was so excited when she responded back after I called and left a message. I needed the details because my flight day was coming quick and I needed to pass the info to my siblings so they could be prepared. The prices were expensive but it was definitely worth it and my mom deserves nothing but the best. Alishia was so awesome the day we met and took our pics it was a cloudy

Alishia took our family photos in 2013. We had two adults and three kids 5 and under. We shot outside on a beautiful, but windy day. I would pay over and over again to have a true trained professional take out pictures. They are still the best we've ever had. She is not a hobbyest where "photog is my passion". Alishia has years of education, training and experience behind the lens and in post-editing.
My youngest never had a dry nose before she was 4. Alishia fixed that in our photos! My cheeks get ridiculously, clownishly, overly red in the wind and she softend that perfectly. She directed us
