We are Malvagio's and we are devoted to bringing back the culture of wood fired oven cooking to the community. In doing so, creating bonds and growing community based relationships in front of a soothing wood fired oven all while consuming delicious wood fired treats. Malvagio's is owned and operated by Matthew and Svitlana Petersen of Hayden, Idaho.
We are a gourmet food vendor for events such as concerts, farmers markets, fairs and festivals, anywhere the community is gathering. When we are catering corporate and private events, such as weddings or birthday parties, that demand a more sophisticated menu, we gladly customize it to fit your palate.

Hands down the best pizza dough I have ever had! I am so exited that they finally have a local restaurant we can visit on a regular basis. I have enjoyed a variety of their pizzas at live after five during the summer and at other local events! If you have a sweet tooth, try the bombolone, they are amazing!! I can’t wait to taste test more items from their new menu!

Wow, very delicious pizza and gnocchi! The pizza sizes are 10" which is a great personal pizza size. The prices are also very reasonable. The setting is casual. It can get a bit loud when there are just a few groups in there, but nothing some tapestries on the wall can't fix. The service is also very good from our experience. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

I was looking into malvagios to have them cater my wedding. Prices are great had no problem paying $15-$22 per person. He then informed me that it would cost anywhere from $1500-$1800 just for travel. My venue is not even four hours from their location. I just don’t understand how that is even realistic for travel. It’s only 224 miles. Are they charging eight dollars per mile they drive?? Like what ?!

My husband and I used Malvagios to cater our wedding this last weekend and we loved them! We had to replan our wedding last minute and we were in need of a caterer and found them. Matt was awesome to work with… and got back to us so quickly. Our guests loved the pizza and such a awesome experience having them cook it on site in their wood fire pizza oven. My husband is a pizza snob and he loved it. We couldn’t recommend them more!

Have enjoyed Malvagio's many times, being a retired Chef I find it almost impossible to get a wood fire pizza like I have enjoyed in Italy but these people did not disappoint, finally a great pizza and great… people, do yourself a favor and get a slice or two! And for fun, let them cater your next party! Your guest will thank-you!

This summer I got to meet the owners if Malgavio's pizza. An amazing place. A lot of variety of pizzas, classy and traditional options. The ingredient of pizza tasted fresh and the crust smelled and tasted amazing. They don't take a long time to make it as well, which was nice. I would recommend this place for delicious pizza, awesome servers, and reasonable prices.
