Great local mechanics - straightforward and knowledgeable. Gloria in the office knows just about as much as the mechanics. One time I went there with a fender bender and Phil was busy all week so he sent me to another guy who was equally good - I really appreciated that too. Been going to Phil's for years.

I was amazed the amount of time one of the sons spent with a lady who had problem with her car- At Least 20-30 minute- she wasn't helped by the dealer and they located her problem and told her to take it back with this info-- AND THEY REFUSED

They have only done inspections on two of my cars- but both were quick and friendly-- Gloria runs the show and she is a winner... a real no high

This place was recommended to us a few years back, probably 5, actually. Since then (possible before that), from what I understand, there was a divorce and the wife now runs the place...can't confirm this. I've heard it has gone downhill since. I can't confirm this because I never experienced the top of the hill, only the bottom. Went here for a break job and to have some new tires put on. Got the car back and when going in reverse it squeaked worse than a commuter line car in August. Was told this was unique to the model of car...brilliant answer, except why didn't it squeak

Almost three months have passed since dealing with this company and one would think that all consequences of a less than smooth transaction would have subsided by now. False!
After the less than satisfactory experience I had with Phil and Sons, I selected an alternative mechanic to do some routine maintenance and repairs to the vehicle they had worked on. The mechanic got in touch with me quite promptly to inform me that a rust hole of several inches had inhibited the front portion of the frame, and the driver's side control arm and engine mounts would most certainly drop should I run into
