I don’t typically leave reviews, especially negative ones, but this had to be the worst experience we have ever had with a towing company. Our vehicle broke down this morning and they were who AAA had come pick… it up, we asked them to take it to a garage in Oil City, gave the driver the address and name and figured it was simple enough. Almost 3 hours later our mechanic calls to inform us our vehicle never arrived. To say the least I was furious. I called Lowry’s and they started with saying they didn’t have any AAA calls today and that I should call another tow company

I visited Lowry Auto as a backup to my normal garage, Turbo Tim's Anything Automotive, because the latter are closed to relocate. At Lowry they were not what I'd call friendly. One annoying thing was that when I went to pay they added it up, so and so "for the governor" (tax), and oh - you're using a credit card? Well "the bank" will charge a surcharge for that. I know how credit cards work, and I know most mechanics absorb the fee into the cost of repairs. No warning that they charge extra for a credit card, and a bit dishonest to describe it as a surcharge from

I experienced a breakdown 90 miles north of Pittsburgh last weekend...the Sunday before Labor Day...not fun. I used AAA to get a tow and was lucky enough to be helped by Bruce with Lowry's Auto Body & Towing. He was incredibly quick and immediately greeted my friends and I with calm and a smile - exactly what we needed to relax. He was so helpful talking us through our problem-solving brainstorm and shared with us his knowledge of the local area. He was fantastic, and if I lived anywhere near Pittsburgh, I would feel comfortable and confident with leaving my car in the care of Bruce
