To become a member of OneAZ Credit Union, all you need is $5 to open your Share Savings account. This represents your ownership in the Credit Union. If you live in Arizona, are related to an existing member, or work for a qualified employer, you are eligible for membership. Persons under contract to purchase real property in counties served and will reside in the home at least part time.
1Mortgage points, also known as discount points, are a form of prepaid interest. One point equals one percent of the loan amount. Increased points typically lower the interest rate; however, this cost also effectively increases the yield on the loan above the amount of the stated interest rate.

Borrowers can offer to pay additional points to reduce the interest rate on the loan, thus obtaining a lower monthly payment in exchange for this up-front payment.Conversely, borrowers can also request to pay reduced points which will result in an increase in both the stated interest rate and the monthly payment.

Madison Burton made my car loan process the absolute best. I just bought my first brand new car and had so many questions outside of the car loan process. I had recently opened up an account with a different credit union, but it wasn’t for me. Came to OneAZ Credit Union after all the good reviews I had read online and that was by far the best choice I made. As soon as I walked through the doors I was greeted by both ladies in the front and was treated with the upmost respect. Madison helped me set up my accounts and she was phenomenal! Madison was wonderful for helping me with the car loan financing.
She was not only helped me to lower the monthly payments and she also suggested a very good extended car warranty up to 120,000 miles for my car.

I talked to two wonderful ladies at the Tempe, AZ location this morning.
They both exuded an over the top level of professional courtesy that's befitting of making them a model for excellence.
So, I'd like to reach beyond the customary 5stars for excellence in customer service and satisfaction and give them the Sun and the Moon as well.
It is something I would not hesitate to do for anyone who is willing to go the distance for me. A rare and welcoming experience.

Set an appointment to review and change some accounts. Met with Madison Burton, who was absolutely wonderful. She had or tracked down all the information we needed, made all the necessary changes, and followed up to make sure everything was working. I only wish my other bank had this kind of service.

We were going for an auto loan, and weren't quite sure all this works. It's incredibly comforting to have someone that feels like they're on your team. It was Madison Burton and she answered every question in the first office visit and from then via email almost immediately with great, simple answers. That's an art and true talent. She is super sharp. We had a check to the dealer within 48 business hours-how did she do this ALL with no mistakes!!

Worked with Joaquin Aguirre to refinance my vehicle. I am an extremely well qualified Buyer and the process should have taken maybe 3 days at most, same as my previous two auto loans with OneAZ. Ended up cancelling the loan after more than 2 weeks because of the level of incompetence and lack of communication. I will be closing my OneAZ accounts and will never again apply for credit or banking, nor will I recommend them to any of my clients, friends, or family.

I was looking for a small town feel in a bank and when I walked in I knew this was the one. The tellers were courteous and welcoming. I was then greeted and taken back to open up my accounts by Wendy! She was absolutely amazing. We chatted and she got to know me and my family. It was the best experience. To sum up my experience with One AZ in one word it has to be "unprofessional". Horribly trained, uncaring staff. Talk to 3 different people, you will get 3 completely different answers. Paid vehicle loan off early. Had to call 3 times over almost 2 weeks to get them to release the lien. Was told twice the lien had been released only to find out they had done nothing. Still waiting. Extremely disorganized and poorly trained staff. The website is clunky and limited to what you can do. Would expect more from a financial institution. Very disappointed in OneAZ. Horrible customer service. I tried to call the branch but kept getting a recording that no one was available so the call is automatically thrown into their call center. This happens a lot with OneAZ. Arona anwsered the phone and started asking all her many, many questions. After giving her my account number, date of birth, home address, how long they had my car loan, the year of the car I purchase and my phone number she insisted I give her my SSN. I have been been with OneAZ for a few years now. We even took out a home equity loan. When payoff came about as we are refinancing our home, there was a late fee. This happened when I opened the loan about 4 years ago. I never received a notice or phone call that the first payment was due. Finally I received something about a late fee. I called and their representative inferred it was for 1 or 2 months. We talked and I was told it would be taken care of. Now I find out it was for 5 months! During the 5 months I did not receive a single phone call or letter about it, not 1! And I was told this was

I absolutely LOVE doing all our banking with One AZ Credit Union. We used the Oro Valley branch, and the staff there are absolutely top notch! So very friendly, and always helpful - even when it is busy. They are using all Covid precautions, and take care to be sure you are OK. I am doing business with BOFA for more than 10 years, but when I need to get my documents notarized for my kid's passport renewal they just turned me down.

Ran a hard pull on my credit to inform me that they could offer me a 50k loan on a quarter mil car over less than one year. Put full disclosures on your site. Poor service. Poor business. Does not respect the customer.

Let me state first off I have banked with the credit union for over 30 years and always been happy with them. But I do not feel I should be discriminated upon because I am unable to wear a mask ! I did not come to the bank to have a 20 year old girl to tell me how to protect my health , I ended up walking out and not getting my transaction completed . I believe they need to understand there members needs and do their best to be oblige the members first !

I've been a member for three years now, and joined because of all the great things I kept hearing about credit unions. However, contrary to the advertisements and the testimonials and recommendations from financial advocates, I still cannot find any real substantive benefit from being a member. None.

I've spent the last three years becoming debt-free, and it's been really difficult, sacrificial work. Despite numerous and repeated attempts to reach out to them in my journey for support, advice, guidance, education, recommendation, and really become a part of the "family"

If you are a business owner don't waste your time! I had to produce more docs than applying w SBA for my business. I was just trying to help my son get a used car & I have excellent credit. After 5 day's I gave up as they asked for the same information for 3 days in a row! It was just a 12,000 loan as a 3rd party lender & rates sounded great but we almost lost the car. They don't return calls as promised & beyond frustrating to work with. Plus they ran my credit twice! PASS & don't waste your time like I did with this bank! Horrible experience from the beginning

If you are a 1099'd employee don't even wast your time inquiring about a loan of any kind from these jokers. Seriously. It will be the most frustrating waste of time you've ever experienced.
The "Loan Specialists" are a bunch of lazy millennial & Generation Z robots with zero personality, and just going through their scripts and collecting an hourly wage, with no vested interest in working hard for their customers.
They don't care about service in the slightest.

They recently froze my debit card due to "fraudulent" activity. When I called to get it unfrozen, I was on hold for more than an hour and then asked to leave my name and number. I have been waiting more than 4 hours and have called 3 other times and still have not gotten a response or call back.

Usually, my in-person experiences in Flagstaff have been wonderful. For the most part they have a great Flagstaff team. Local gets a 5 on the average interaction.

The distance branches outside of Flagstaff however, bring this rating lower because many things have to go through them...

Their mortgage people: I had to remind of certain mathematical and regulation protocols. Frustrated to say the least. 2 would be a generous rating.

However, my interactions with my credit card... Problematic. They recently cancelled my card without my permission. During a quarantine! I have medications I require
