In the interest of protecting some of the medically fragile clients in our practice and in our community, we are now shifting to online therapy in lieu of in-person appointments. Online sessions (using a Skype-like platform, but HIPAA compliant and secure) can be used to access online therapy from a private location like your home.

Please let us know ASAP if you prefer this for any sessions. The email address we have on file will receive a link prior to your scheduled appointment. If you plan to use a smartphone, you will be prompted to download an app first. Please make sure you are in a private location that allows you to have the same level of concentration and openness you show in our in-person sessions.

Here, you will be in a safe, non-judgmental environment so you can explore your feelings and thoughts. Life is stressful as it is, and add to the mix work, family, relationships, unexpected changes and tragedies and it can break us. During therapy, you will be able to learn and master the coping skills necessary for you to handle life feeling in control.
We all try a lot of things to stop the feelings of depression and anxiety. I bet you've tried to do it on your own, talking with friends and family (sometimes strangers), online searches and endless hours on medical websites such as WebMd, trying to figure out what is going on with you. Even if you have support from your loved ones, they just do not know how to help you.
My goal as the therapist is to help empower you to recognize your own competence and apply this competence towards possible future solutions. In addition to helping you utilize your existing skills, I can instruct you in mindfulness skills that can be used to manage anxiety and depression by shifting focus to living in the present moment.
