The EquiTouch System of equine massage involves the "whole horse." We don't believe in teaching "bits and pieces" of equine massage with no solid foundation. So we combined several unique methods of touch, equine bodywork and massage as well as exercise physiology with in-depth anatomy instruction to create an exceptional course.
We are proud of our program and take pride in over 45 years of combined equine massage, bodywork, reconditioning and remedial training that stands behind our current methods and system of instruction. There is no other program like EquiTouch. You will learn individualized, unique, and effective methods of applying massage and bodywork to your horse.

To achieve excellence in Equine Massage, or massage of any creature, you must have a strong, solid foundation. Much of that foundation is built on the ability to read and evaluate what the body tells you about itself. Although some of your assessment will come from visual signals, a large part of the information you can gain comes from your sense of touch.
On-site Equine Massage and anatomy course: nine days of educational lectures and individualized hands-on instruction for a total of 150 hours of training (includes credit for completion of EquiTouch Primer 1). Fee: $300 registration/processing fee plus $1395 class fee - This price includes all required curriculum, handouts, and use of classroom materials.
Have you read about the horse's skeletal structure and muscles, but found the information too complicated and difficult to retain? Did you know that the horse has no collarbone; that its forelegs are attached to its spine only by muscles and ligaments? The Equine Anatomy Home Study Manual was initially developed as a prerequisite to EquiTouch Systems, Inc. Equine Sports Massage Therapy Certification Course.
The ranch in Loveland, CO where we formerly held classes has been sold. Currently we are looking for a similar classroom arrangement in a nearby location. In the meantime, we are still offering a few small, private/semi-private classes at several stables near Laramie, WY and a few near Cheyenne, WY.
Class size is normally limited to 4 - 6 students. This insures that you will receive personalized, one-on-one instruction. During the nine-day program, you will work on 8 - 10 different horses and will receive "palpation" instruction on 10 - 12 different horses as well. This means you receive almost twice the "hands-on" training that students of other equine sports massage programs are given.
