Case managers can be assured prompt connection to a Network Provider for all of their clients' needs, in order to treat the whole person. If one our Network Providers is not immediately available, we offer a full service medical clinic, which includes both general/family practice and specialty care.

Desert Rose Counseling Group LLC was established in June of 2011. The group is known as a champion of suicide prevention, with high social equity; building relationships & bridging gaps in public and private, integrated health care systems.
Desert Rose is widely regarded as a provider of emergency mental health services including short-term and long-term housing, mental health crisis interventions, intensive case management & care management of special needs and underserved populations; with facilities to offer individual, couples, family and group therapies; the staffing, and technologies to connect communities, giving greater access to care.

Desert Rose also accepts direct referrals from medical and behavioral health providers and Nevada Medicaid Members themselves, with documented chronic and severe mental illness and/or severe emotional disorder. For Members who may already be receiving care management/coordination services in another program, DR staff will work with you to ensure that there is coordination, not duplication of services.

The Zero Suicide framework is a system-wide, organizational commitment to safer suicide care in health and behavioral health care systems. The framework is based on the realization that suicidal individuals often fall through the cracks in a sometimes fragmented and distracted health care system. A systematic approach to quality improvement in these settings is both available and necessary.

Desert Rose Counseling provides excellent trauma-informed therapists who specialize in suicidal ideation, anxiety, depression and they provide telemed services too! I highly recommend my referrals to them because Bianca McCall provides specialized suicide awareness and prevention support for our community, and she is an excellent facilitator! Bianca presented her findings on youth suicide, along with the warning signs, at our first responder Q&A suicide meeting with the Henderson Fire Department.
