Tokyo Asian Cuisine

Came in for Hibachi. They were very busy with all of their Hibachi tables going. We were seated at the last one available. They came to take our drinks quickly but took a long time to get them. It was about an hour before the chef came to the table. Once the food was made it was good. I give them a pass on the delay because they were packed and the chefs were going as quick a they could. Overall it was decent.

Has an amazing selection on the menu, can't wait to try more things next time!

Good Hibachi and fast, but a little pricey. They charge the same for carry out as they do at the Hibachi table, but you don't get the entertainment...so for carry out its quite expensive.

MET friends there. Not my idea. They like the food. The outside looked like it hasn't been cared for in years. Once I got inside.
I was completely grossed out. It was FILTHY, lost my appetite so ordered a $5 cup of tea.

Had the hibachi and wasn't that impressed. Food was ok for me but my wife loved it. We live close but my choice would be Osaka in Northampton.

Was greeted with a frown as I picked up my $65. Takeout. I asked if the eel sauce was inside the bag since I added it to the order. He grabbed the receipt said no and it's 50 cents. I said I had put it in the special instructions and paid for it. He said no it's 50 cents. I let him know it's a 65.$ and you want 50 cents? In this time customer service goes a long way. I let him know I won't be back and it was for 50 cents. Honestly, the food was meh and I'd rather spend my money plus 50 cents elsewhere. All set with rude treatment.
On top of it they forgot my side of noodles

The service was pretty bad, once we were served, they walked away without asking if we needed anything else.. and I was out of water, we didn’t have spoons, took us 5ish minutes to look for somebody and we had to wave them down to get their attention to get our utensils, and still didn’t get a water. the sushi was pretty good, but other than that it was really disappointing.

The food is amazing if you sit at the hibachi grill table, if you sit on the other side the food is not that great. I sat on the other side and order what I usually order if I was to go to the hibachi table. The food was cold, I felt like I was given left overs from someone at the hibachi table the taste was off. I called the waitress and told her I didn’t want my food and explained to her why. The waitress was very rude and I still had to pay for it even tho I didn’t take more then 3 bites. Everything was super good and our waiter was great! Our favorites were the Angry Dragon roll and the Fallen Angel roll. I had a mango bay breeze drink that was also super yummy. I will be back for more!

I was so disgusting to me after visiting this restaurant ..
we often went to this restaurant because it is not far from my house and good sushi, but after the last visit I don't want to go there anymore , Unfortunately.
Very rude waitress, I did not know the name of the dish and tried to explain the ingredients to her and roughly what it is called. she seemed to understand and left. they brought me something completely different, I said that was not what I wanted. so she started yells at me and tries to prove in a hysterical tone that she is not

This area sushi and hibachi spot has been around for at least a decade. The quality of food is consistently good, but far from the best sushi in western Mass (although your west Springfieldoptions are pretty limited anyway). The hibachi is better. When not under these ridiculous covid restrictions the bar makes great cocktails.

I had worse experience ever. I been coming in for years usually we sit at the dining table, but since we had friends wanted hibachi so we sit at the hibachi room. The hibachi chef has no show at all wasn't talking much. The only great job he did was probably wearing a mask. The lady server krystal she is so RUDE!!!!!!!!! She took our order and drinks. This is my favorite hibachi place in western Mass. Clean and beautiful atmosphere. Amazing food and great customer service. I get their hibachi chicken lunch and noodles often and it never disappoints. 10/10 would recommend!

I love this place! Everything i try is always delicious. I have been there several times and I am never disappointed. It is a great place to go wirh friends, with your significant other, and family! The staff is always very friendly! If you love sushi you should definitely try this place out. They have a lot to choose from!

I’ve tried a lot of sushi places, Tokyo definitely have quality sushi! Plate always have some cool design on it. First bite and it melts in your mouth. Overall the look and taste gives you that royal feeling of deliciousness! 5⭐️

I am really not happy with this place. I will say, the staff was friendly and it seemed there was only a few of them but the overall experience was not great. We had sushi for an app and it was really good - tuna amazing roll. And then we got the hibachi steak and scallops dinner and by the time we got it it was ice cold. On top of that no one came to collect our finished plates and cups the entire time so our table was just full of dirty dishes. I probably wouldn't come back. They have definitely cut the amount of food you get in half. I'm not exaggerating. I got the filet an scallops. There was 7 cut pieces of the filet. An 3 scallops. I'm not exaggerating. At all. While it's great. The amount. For $28. Was despicable. The hibachi chef was in a definite hurry. I understand they were busy. But it really took away from the experience. We are definitely gonna be trying to find a new spot. Every time we go. It's something wrong. The food is just great so it's hard not to go back. But for the price an amount. It's just not worth it anymore

It has definitely gone downhill. OK if you're desperate, but there are other, better places within 30 minutes. Makes me sad as this was my favourite local place.

Good service, good fish, competitive prices. What more can a person ask for. I got the Sashimi Bento which comes with shumai, nigiri, and chefs choice sashimi. Miso soup or salad comes with the box and soup was nice on this cold day. Would recommend and return!

Delish FRESH food and friendly hospitable service. Visiting from NYC and love sushi and Hibachi ! Came by the quality inn and was recommend to eat at Tokyo! Everyone was so friendly and I had a great meal. My favorite was the mushroom soup and Hibachi fried rice. 5 stAr !!!

Went to Tokyo Asian cuisine for the first time this week it was delicious. I would definitely recommend the sushi it was so fresh "the patriot roll" was amazing. My daughter had the lunch special with 3 rolls they we outstanding. I would highly recommend this place the service was great except on one of the rolls we asked for an addition that they forgot. The server suggested the fried ice cream for dessert so we tried it and it was very different but good. Nice atmosphere as well.

Tokyo is currently my top go-to spot for sushi, being that it's local to my area, and that I've never had a bad experience there. It's a great place to go on a quiet afternoon and sit at the sushi bar. During peak hours (such as a Friday night) the place can get packed, and as such, service will be delayed a bit.

This was never really a concern for me, as the sashimi always made up for any grievances - always tastes fresh, creamy and delicious. I usually steer clear from the super American-ized special rolls, but their regular maki has been more than satisfactory. Plate aeathetic

I've lived very close to this place most of my life and over only been here 3 times. I'm not sure why I didn't go more. Thanks sushi is amazing and fresh and they have a huge variety of special rolls to choose from. It's always deserted when I go tho.

Outstanding sushi and great specials. Started with a miso soup and sexy jalepeno special, got a fallen angel roll, and ended with a tobiko sushi with quail egg. They were all expertly crafted and fresh. Presentation of the food was very nice as well. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and nice decor of the entire restaurant, which is quite large inside. I will definitely return.

Pretty good japanese restaurant right by the hotel where I was staying. It looks like an older restaurant and it must've been super busy back in its glory days because there's a lot of seating. There was a good amount of customers. The service was very good. The menu has pretty good variety. There's the typical sushi. There's also hibachi, teriyaki and tempura. They also have the katsu don and chicken cutlets, along with bento boxes. You can also choose to sit at the hibachi grill and enjoy the show. The food tasted okay... not the greatest sushi I've ever had. Our table ordered 9 different rolls and a udon meal and a teriyaki chicken meal plus miso soup. Service was very slow and they slightly messed up our bill and response when we brought to their attention was "well we didn't charge you for the extra rice." We left it at that because it was only a few dollars off.

Sushi was decent and the hibachi area looked and sounded like any other hibachi place. The udon noodles were good with beef, but the chicken teriyaki didn't taste like what we expect from a hibachi restaurant

They have a large menu of salads, appetizers and entrees. Huge selection of sushi, sashimi and rolls (I don't remember seeing any rolls with cream cheese!). They also have hibachi.

I went for sushi. I'm a sucker for any roll wrapped in cucumber so I ordered the Bonsai Tree. It was super fresh, and the Ponzu sauce added great flavor.
